OK guys, I’ve been hanging for 3 months no problems. Before that I did the newbie routine.

In recent times I’ve been coupling hanging with jelqing 1 on, 1 off. The other night I decided to push the jelqing on, 20 minutes and quite firmly, now I’m worried I have an injury form this.

When I’m flaccid, no problem. However, when I get erect just below the glans running half-way down my shaft towards the right as I look down I can feel like “string trapped under the skin”, it feels hard and uncomfortable when I jelq.

I’m getting no pain from the area, there is no sign of swelling or lumps just the feeling of something “trapped” when I jelq and am erect.

I’ve decided to stop jelqing for a week or two, but wondered if I should stop hanging or not?

Ideally I don’t want to stop hanging.

Has anyone any advice?

Yes. Stop hanging!

You have to let your penis get better. You seem to have thrombosed a vein, so the only exercise to take is gently massage the area to try and move the restriction on.

You will only make it worse by hanging or any other exercise at present. Meantine read up about thrombosed veins (do a search) and follow any advice that is there.

Ruz_, I understand you are anxious to get gains, but I would advise the same thing as petitfaun.

When in doubt of an injury, better stop, at least for a couple of days. Hanging can be very stressful to your dick, so take it easy.

Just to let you know I continued hanging because I was unsure and no one had replied. I did, however, stop jelqing.

In 10 days this specific issue appeared to have cleared-up.
