But if your current rate if improvements and overall progress has been steady and looks on track towards recovery, don’t try out anything new, which could make it worse, even if it’s something you think might help. One of the deadliest pitfalls in making injuries worse are actions intended to promote or accelerate healing that don’t work out.

For example, pelvic floor stretches, which are really for pelvic tension. From what you describe, it sounds like your injury is structural damage which is steadily healing with occasional setbacks (not tension related), and pelvic floor exercises or stretches could put negative strain on this kind of damage.

The setbacks usually happened after masturbation/orgasm, no matter how light the grip or short the duration. Now I have had a huge setback again. My dick is more numb again, hard flaccid a lot of the time and it was pretty much impossible for me to get an erection. With heavy stimulation I got to an erection just before orgasm and the orgasm was pretty meh but not 0% pleasure, maybe 50%. Just a week or less ago the slightest sexual thought or physical touches could give me a rock hard erection within seconds, the glans felt amazing when I dragged my palm across it and the orgasms were 100% pleasure. The dick itself recently felt like 80-85%, now back to maybe 50%, minus the inability to get erections. The glans is much more numb again now along with the rest of the dick. I tested its temperature sensitivity and it is less than before but is not the worst it has been during the recovery process. I guess I am fucked again. Every time I get hope everything goes to shit again. It looks like the myelin sheath around my nerves is so damn weak that it breaks so easily every time.

I cannot stop orgasming because my libido/semen quality and ability to get erections completely disappeared the last time I tried nofap for a month and it took like 2 months to get all those back, and that wasn’t even when I had nerve damage. I must have at least 1 orgasm per week to at least keep my hormonal balance/balls healthy.

Now I truly feel hopeless, I don’t know what to do and what to tell my girlfriend. I already told her several times that I had bad timing when I met her and that my dick was in a much better state right before. I truly care about her and feel like she is the right one for me so I guess this is life’s irony. I don’t know how to explain yet another setback. Does the position your body is in during ejaculation effect the likelihood of setbacks happening? You could try ejaculating sitting in a different chair or kneeling and see. It’s probably not isolated damage to a nerve but damage to some tissue which is interfering with the function of a nerve. There is probably healing taking place in this damaged area but it can be easily aggravated by things such as ejaculation like you describe. But ejaculation can probably accelerate healing as well due to blood flow and stimulation to the damaged area. Try ejaculating sitting in a different chair or a different position like kneeling. Don’t drink any alcohol, or eat any foods with molasses or Chinese food with those sweet sauces. Regular table sugar, however, will boost the rate of improvements and is not harmful.

Don’t give up, don’t let your mind have the best over your body. There will be moments when you’ll feel down like always in life but don’t let your penis define your day and your life! Hey, I seem to have overreacted to the setback, the most severe effects of the setback only lasted for a few days. I can feel my dick better again now and it’s not really hard flaccid anymore. I can also get erections again but not as strong. It is a little bit more difficult to fill up the glans from the softer balloon stage but doable. At least my body is constantly trying to get back on track. I will try to keep my hands off my dick as much as possible without going crazy.

And yes! I had the loose skin stage like 1.5 months ago. My dick got a lot of wrinkles and the skin almost seemed to hang under my penis. The skin was even loose when my dick wasn’t shrunk due to HF. It got me really worried and I assumed that it would be permanent, even if my sensitivity returned. Most of the looseness is gone now, seems like it tightened up again somehow. I assume it has something to do with the nerves again.

Yeah, I had some pain in the pelvic floor and balls area too, went away for the most part. Right now I don’t have pain in the glans.

UPDATE

My dick has done some crazy things lately. Two days ago it started feeling a lot better again and reached pretty much 90% feeling yesterday. Then I woke up in the middle of the night to take a piss and I discovered that is was back to like 40% (WTF?). The skin was really loose again (like a bulldog’s skin) along with the numbness and I thought I lost all progress again. I went back to bed and then within 10 minutes the feeling started to come back again and my skin started tightening up in front of my eyes. It then went back to like 80% sensation again. I woke up today and I am still at like 80% or so but the skin became a little bit more loose again, presumably from all the nocturnal/morning wood. It is not as loose as it was when I woke up so I guess that is ok. Note that I have not been masturbating at all, just using light touches to analyze the feeling over the past days.

Also, when the feeling became better again, sensation came back to my nipples and ass. It is crazy but they are somehow connected neurologically. When my dick went numb again, so did my ass and nipples. Now they have regained some feeling again.

I have now reached some extremely weird stage of wild and rapid oscillations between extreme numbness and almost full sensation.

Another Update

My penis recovered to pretty much 90-95% for quite a few days (the best feeling I had felt during the 4 months) and then yesterday when I tried (unsuccessfully) to have sex with my girlfriend my dick went completely numb again. I can barely feel the dick in my hand now. Lost pretty much all the progress. I barely did anything at all before it went numb, got a short blow job without orgasming. Didn’t even put much stress on the dick at all. Right now it is in a terrible state, numb with a slight burning sensation.

If I tell my girlfriend that I can’t let her touch my dick for several months, she will think I am crazy. She already suspects that it is psychological and that I am not attracted to her which could not be further from the truth. I have invisible damage which is so difficult to explain without sounding crazy. I have an appointment with a neurologist soon to either confirm or rule out a neurological disease like multiple sclerosis. Fuck my life. Bunnybug and others, what is your progress?

I have plenty of unseen injuries and damage as well. My girlfriend and then fiancé always blamed me not being able to get hard on not being attracted to her. And it didn’t help that she wasn’t the same type as all my exes. And we would brawl out over it.
I have nerve damage in my pelvic region. Not necessarily in my dick so I can’t help you there. But what I can tell you is that communication is key.
We brawled so bad it almost caused us to call of the wedding. And once I was open with her about the nerve damage and then I started working to fix it. It really aves our marriage.
I would be hard then go push into her vagina. And it would go soft and just wouldn’t go in cause it was soft. Go soft in a blow job and all.
My injuries also affect every aspect of my life and no one knows but me. It can be a crusher at time.
You really need a good support group and people you can be fully transparent to.
Also do your research and really try hard to avoid anything than can make it worse.

Maybe just the fact of getting a boner and pulsing is too much pressure right now.

Yes, at least I can vent here. I don’t feel exactly comfortable about talking to other people about this.

I think I have a plausible explanation for my injury:

1) When the injury happened, I was clenching my pelvic floor repeatedly to avoid orgasm.
2) During the recovery process my pelvic floor was often spasming and swelling up in certain positions.
3) I sometimes have trouble with dribble after urinating ever since the injury.
4) Today and a few times before I also felt the burning sensation in my pelvic floor.
5) My ass and balls also go numb when my dick goes numb.
6) Today my ass is incredibly tight for some reason, it is completely contracted.

When putting the all the puzzle pieces together it seems obvious that my pelvic floor is messed up due to a trapped or irritated nerve there, which leads to numbness in my dick and other parts. There might not actually be anything wrong with my dick itself. The signal could already be blocked in my pelvic floor area.

Of course this is just a hypothesis but I will ask a doctor about this. Maybe physical therapy to the pelvic floor can allow my dick to heal permanently next time. Same goes for you, Bunnybug.

As someone who has nerve damage in their pelvic floor and had a super tight pelvic floor causing ED. I had all those signs.

Breathe in to your stomach while you pee which loosens your pelvic floor.

Spread your legs wide lean back and to a side and release your pelvic floor as a stretch for it

I’m not a doctor these may not work for you but these two things greatly helped me loosen my pelvic floor.

Don’t hold in pooping. It’s a killer on your pelvic floor. My thread has my story.

Your problem does not seem that bad. Leave your dick alone for a while by stopping the jelqing and reducing the masturbation frequency, quit the porn. Take zinc to help with erection quality and exercise to increase blood flow. When you do masturbate, be calm and practice pumping some extra blood into your dick. It will take time but your body should heal.

When you see negative effects due to jelqing, I would advise to just stop it. Appreciate the size you have, it should easily be able to satisfy every woman.

I just tried looking at porn, but was unable to get a full erection. Then I noticed the top of my shaft felt numb. I never really touched the top of my shaft before so I’m not sure if it was always numb since last week when my injury happened. But it definitely feels numb. What do I do? I’m so scared.

When you say numb, are you talking about slightly less sensitivity to touch and/or hot and cold? Or are you talking about a loss of sexual sensation? If your sexual sensation and libido are in tact it really isn’t worth worrying about.

As far as erectile dysfunction, what will you do if this never gets any better? If you formulate a clear plan about how you’ll manage and cope with it in case it doesn’t, it should help you feel at least a little better. Another thing that might help, if the terror is really coming on strong, is to partake in comforting activities, like eating comfort food, taking a walk, or whatever brings you a sense of comfort. When I first got injured, I played some video games from when I was a kid (I think Sigmund Freud calls it regression). Start with a plan about what you will do in case it does’t go away.
