Pain in right testicle

Pain in right testicle

Hey all,

Here is my story, I’m hoping for a little bit of insight to see if anyone else has had this problem/pain. About a week ago I decided to not only get back into the gym but also start the newbie routine again. I took about 3-4 months of from working out and haven’t done any PE exercises in about a year. All was going well until last Friday. Sometime late in the day Friday, i started to feel some throbbing coming from my right testicle. At first I didn’t think much of it but as the time went on, the throbbing never went away. I also started to feel extreme pain in my lower back. I did some dead lifts in the gym Friday morning and just assumed the pain was from dead lifting. Well here it is Monday afternoon and my right testicle is still throbbing and I still have some pain in my lower back. I decided to google “pain in right testicle” and many websites claim it is either a bladder infection or possibly a hernia. My question is has anyone else had experience a throbbing pain in their testicle? I am a little concerned over this. My GP was able to squeeze me into a appointment tomorrow afternoon. By the way, I am 28 years old and in good health. Thanks in advance.

You will know more tomorrow than any of us could legitimately comment on for now.

A hernia sounds very likely, I have the start of a hernia that’s never fully formed and I get pain in my left testicle at times ( that’s the side it is on). But You might have also tweaked something in your back that’s causes pain to radiate to other areas IE your testicle. I have also had that problem from straining my back while squatting. Anyway check with your doctor to know for sure. Good luck, and don’t worry to much.
