Hi guys, just curious if this occurence is normal. Some background info, I have been PEing since July 07.

Firstly I was doing some normal stretches, then about 15mins of Fowfer’s stretches. After that I did some jelqing. Even before I did my jelqing, there was some discomfort at the base of the penis, but jelqing did not make it hurt, so i carried on jelqing. I had warmed up both before and after the session.

This is the thing, there is no pain if I do not touch my penis at all. But if I squeeze the base of my penis, the part connecting to the groin, there is some pain, but not excruciatingly so. The pubic hair region also has some discomfort if I press down on it. I suspect it could be something to do with the ligaments, as I probably did quite an intense Fowfer’s. Warm water helps to alleviate the discomfort alot. I was hoping a day of rest would fix it, but today the discomfort remains.

Any opinions, guys? Advice is much appreciated.

I believe it is normal to get some pain at the base of the penis. As long as the pain is not excruciating all is good. When I started I got some pain at the base of my penis. This was due to my stretching.

My penis was not accustomed to the stress I generated. With time and by reducing my intensity, I stop experiencing the pain.

If you want to stop experiencing pain, I think you should warm up correctly and cut down on the intensity.

Also, pain serves as an indicator if you are training too hard.

Thank you padawan, I probably overdid the Fowfer stretch. Thankfully there is no pain if I do not touch it, the pain only comes if I start feeling it. Do you think I can continue my routine or should I have one more rest day?

I am not an expert in the subject, but having a day of rest will certainly help.

Also, apply some warm wrap. It will help.

I apply warm wraps before and after each session. Today is my rest day actually, and I’m hoping it will recover in time for the next day. Also, I been soaking my member in warm water and massaging it gently today as well.. Thanks for the advice!

This is pretty strange. The pain almost completely disappeared after I ejaculated today. But a gradual drop, but a pretty drastic decrease. Still, I’m thankful!

Ok its been one more day.. the pain came back… however it almost completely goes away while I massage it, even for a short time. Could I have hurt the ligaments?

I’m going to say this only from experience.. If the pain isn’t sharp pains or anything or anything you wouldn’t consider just to be sore you should be ok.. However I know there is a big controversy over rest days and if you should do them or not. In my OPINION I don’t think rest days are beneficial to consistent gains. What I do is if I’m feeling sore or something I just do very light jelqs through out the day just to keep things nice and warm and loose for the next day. This to me has been the success in my gains I think.. But then again it is indeed just my OPINION and nothing more

It’s obvious that theres changes going on and somethings happening other wise you wouldn’t be sore. As long as you stay in your comfort zone and don’t over do anything like rip your dick off haha I think you’ll be ok

I always get pain at the base of my penis, where the ligament attaches to the pubic bone. I think it’s cause by inflammation because of all the stretches - ibuprofen sorts it right out as it’s a pain killer and an anti-inflammatory
