Started using an extender a week ago. The last time I used it two days ago my penis felt sore and stretched. The next morning I tried to have sex and could not get a firm erection which lasted long. Funny thing is I actually had a decent morning wood.

I have not used the extender since and the problem if anything seems to have worsened! This morning I had wood but it was not hard at all.

I’m going to take a break from the extender, sex or masturbation hoping it will get better. Will it actually get better?

I know this should go in the injuries section but I can’t post there because I’m a newbie.

If you don’t feel numbness or a tingling sensation, you just are overworked. In a week or so you should be fine. What kind of extender have you been wearing?

Must take days off as much as days on to prevent injury and give yourself a rest suprisingly having your dick extend is an exhausting exercise even when you may not think that way

I used Andropenis. Had a decent morning wood last night, though not unbearably rock hard like I used to have before using the extender.

I was wondering if all the supplements I have been taking had any effect on my dead dick the day before because I eased up on them last night and just took the basics like fish oil and vitamin C and by early morning my penis was feeling like it was close to normal again.

I think I should be ok from here. Don’t really want to do any more PE or using an extender as this was quite a traumatic experience, if brief.

Has anyone else experienced this loss in EQ from extenders?

Me, I don’t know why but I have a sort of annoying sensation in the zone of perineum.. This sensation is incresed when I’m sitting.I’m just using the andro extender from 20 days.. Maybe the problem is generated when you wear it with clothes and when it bearing towards down position, the blue plastic ring of the andro extender press to much on the zone between the base of the penis and the scrotum.

I make as described on the instructions an adaptative period of 15 days with gradually increasing of lenght of the extender and also hours- from 4 to 8 and 1 week of intensive wearing it for 9 hour every day, Now I have a very unpleasant sensation, it’s not hurting but is very bad because also anxiety drive me to think that I have some heavy damage.

Perhaps you did too much too soon? I’ve read that most of the times when a guy gets injured it’s because they were over zealous and used either too much tension or stretched for too long thinking they would optimize their results. It also seems that guys that experience injuries with extenders are usually doing them in combination with other PE exercises ei. Jelq, weights, pumping, etc. These really increase the risk of injury since the delicate tissues inside the penis are already under a lot of stress by stress caused by the extender. What they recommend for this is to stop doing any PE whatsoever and let the tissues heal. After a few weeks you can see how you feel and start GRADUALLY again. It’s much better to be conservative than risky when you are dealing with your penis.

The instructions inside the extender are not the absolute truth, they are just a template to give you an idea of how you should use the device. 9 hours could be too much for some. Looks like a medieval torture.

This may be late, but oh so true, marinera. I used an X-4 for over 2 years a number of years back. Before I used it I researched online knowing the distributors are looking to sell devices, not develop programs. I found a very popular site in 2007 by one of the original members of TP who left years ago (I think it was Big Al? Forget his name. Thunder would know). He had a very sensible 4 week adaption program which stressed duration build up at low tension before adding more tension slowly. It worked for me.

PE by hand or with devices requires getting your penis and surrounding structures used to trauma, ‘cuz that’s what PE is. With an extender your putting your penis on a rack and yanking it while putting traction on the base. My penis found this to be foreign at first. The time first, then tension program was just what I needed and it worked.

I believe that the extender alone (contrary to the claims of all the device makers) is insufficient. IMHO, an extender is a ligament stretcher. (Sure you can add a v- or a-stretch by adding a pencil or dowel to try to get a tunica stretch, but there are far better methods for that. And BTW, do not do this until you have used your extender more than 3 months - trust me you’re not ready if you don’t.) If you do not add manual PE exercises you are selling your penis short. I did and gained over 1” in length and 1” in girth with the combo over time - 6 months of patient hard work.

I do not recommend wearing an extender under cloths. At best they can be difficult to stay mounted in when your not moving, Add movement and you’ll be attempting to explain what it is when it falls out of your pants when your “little friend” (which you’re trying to get bigger) jumps off the rack. Second in my extensive experience with my penis, stretching downward or upwards was useless. I stretched straight out. I logged many, many hours on my device. I knew what worked for me.

I took breaks every 5 days and used PI’s to tell me if I needed extra breaks. Remember this, like with any other PE, if you hurt when your stretching, stop. Your penis is talking to you. Listen, it’s the only one you’ll ever have.

@pudenlum: do you think that when you stretch SO you gain more erect length, and when you stretch SD you gain more flaccid length? Does SO work more for EL, and SD work more for FL?

@Overdosis I think Erect and flaccid gain is the same, in my case I gain as much flaccid as erect.

About the loss of erection, I have stretched for quite a long time and suddenly I thought my erections were less hard. After a week or two rest my hard erections came back again and now I experience my erections are harder then ever just after a stretching session, rock hard. I used to stretch at daytime but because I can’t anymore I stretch just before sleeping and I have a morning-wood every morning (exceptional for me). So I think stretching before sleeping is good.. Anyone else experiencing harder erections due to stretching? And are PE before sleeping more effective?

Its normal with extender use. Id not worry as long as length gains are occuring. Get all the gains you can until they stop. It would be thereputic to get some head in the evenings after an extender session.
