Hey guys, I’m posting this in the injuries and treatment section. I PEd the other day and barely did anything. Although now I think maybe I injured myself. I don’t know how, when or at what time but I have stopped having my Morning Glories. I’m 22 and have heard the frequency of them lowers as you get older. I don’t think that at 22 I should be having this problem. I will admit to masturbating a bit, but only once or three times a day. I can watch porn and get hard, but it’s usually through stimulation. When I did PE a couple days ago, it was light, not even really a workout. Just enough to get my EQ up for the next couple days.

Masturbating three times a day really is a LOT!!! Between the masturbating and the PE, I think you’d be rather overdoing things if you are still expecting to get morning wood everyday too. Needless to say lay off a while and see if things improve. When you resume, go light on the masturbation too, not just the PE.

You’re too young to lose morning wood. If you’re healthy, you’ve got decades to go on that.

But, keep in mind that we all go through peaks and valleys of sexual efficiency along the way. Relax. It’ll probably come back.

What can we do to improve mw?. I am 19, and dont seem to get that “rock hard erections”.

Exercise, eat right, and relaxation is the key. I believe my morning & normal erections are best after a lot of laughter or sleep.

Loss in morning wood is a direct sign according to Sparkyx’s ideas that you have lost some EQ. It is under the negative PI category. I would take a break as mch said. Hope it comes back for ya.

A short break from PE and masturbation will probably put things right. At 22 I started to notice things were changing, but it was still a long time before it was anything significant. At your age, maybe morning wood is a little less frequent, and spontaneous erections becoming less common, but not totally absent.

My main issue is sleeping. Usually I sleep about 30 mins to 2 hours at best. Never a whole night. The other day I came home exhausted after work and went to sleep and was out for about 30 mins. Woke up every muscle in my body relaxed and had an erection.

I never got those super erections on the night… or maybe I am sleep… Never wake up with one. Feels bad.

In order to experience nocturnal erections, you have to fall into deep enough sleep (REM) that the parasympathetic nervous system can take full control.

I think “morning wood” is something of a misnomer anyway! You do not necessarily awake with one each and every time. And if you don’t awake with one, it does not mean you have not had one or more “nocturnal erections” while you have slept.

In any case, you left a big part of the equation out when you neglected to mention your poor sleep patterns. I think lack of sleep, improper sleep, exhaustion, etc, are all well known factors having an adverse effect on EQ and “nocturnal erections”.

I don’t see how you would find much time to sleep at all when you’re masturbating three times a day! Cut that out.
