The injury stated in the head of this thread doesn’t really conform to other cases, which makes it interesting and unusual if it is a fair description. Generally, even if sensation is temporarily lost, it is regained - though sometimes after some months, dependent on injury.
I think the chances of injury from stretching are probably similar to those from jelqing. PE that works best, tend to be the Spanish Inquisition type: sneaking up on your penis when it’s not looking. You may find you can get what your want from very minor stretching. I would recommend the JAI stretch as a potential route forward. If this doesn’t work though, you may have to consider either opting out or going for methods with more traction. If you choose to PE, it is terribly important to take note of the feedback your body is giving you. Certainly though it is not unusual to feel shooting pains while growing, which is probably damage to nerves.
