Jelqing has destroyed my life A warning.

The injury stated in the head of this thread doesn’t really conform to other cases, which makes it interesting and unusual if it is a fair description. Generally, even if sensation is temporarily lost, it is regained - though sometimes after some months, dependent on injury.

I think the chances of injury from stretching are probably similar to those from jelqing. PE that works best, tend to be the Spanish Inquisition type: sneaking up on your penis when it’s not looking. You may find you can get what your want from very minor stretching. I would recommend the JAI stretch as a potential route forward. If this doesn’t work though, you may have to consider either opting out or going for methods with more traction. If you choose to PE, it is terribly important to take note of the feedback your body is giving you. Certainly though it is not unusual to feel shooting pains while growing, which is probably damage to nerves.

The vast majority of guys who experience problems usually admit, somewhere down the line, that they greatly over-did a session, with an unconditioned penis. There are a tiny number who experience problems from doing nothing wrong in their PE, but those guys would probably have experienced the problem they got from engaging in normal intercourse or masturbation at some stage, even if they had never done PE. They had a pre-disposing weakness.

Approached with a sensible attitude of caution, the newbie routine (especially the linear newbie routine) should not initially place much more stress on your penis than an enthusiastic session of masturbation or lovemaking. As you ramp up the intensity, it would be unusual to go through several years of PE without any sort of minor injury, just the same as if you played football or went to the gym. But as with sports, they are usually minor injuries with no long-term damage, and nothing to worry about. If you never attempt anything out of fear of consequences, you never achieve anything.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I suppose so. I think the loss of sexual sensation is definitely a huge risk though. I’m not sure it’s risking that for trying to get an extra inch or two. But everyone makes that decision on their own. I’m glad I had a chance to read up on this before doing any sort of harder PE than what I have done so far that way I can make my decision to PE knowing there could be potentially huge risks with it.

It’s actually a tiny risk of a bad potential result. A bit like flying. The chance of being in a plane crash is minimal but if it happens you are lucky to survive. So, if you’re the kind of guy who doesn’t fly and doesn’t travel by train and doesn’t own a car, then it’s probably a good idea to avoid PE.

This can’t be right, it’s like losing the use of your arms after 10 curls. Unless you we’re using a ridiculous amount of force it must be impossible. I agree psychosomatic causes are much more likely, also perhaps general fitness, diet or lifestyle could be the cause. I’ve noticed stress can play a huge part in EQ. I’ve had the complete opposite from jelqs, if your cautious then just start with very light pressure, it may even benefit you after an injury, like a massage.

It seems the danger from jelquing is primarily damaging the nerves/arteries/veins that run across the top of the penis. I thankfully will never jelq because I have no interest in gaining girth.

My primary interest is in gaining length, which is why I have been reading up on everything I can about stretching. I’m surprised at how much punishment some guys can take (hanging 15lb weights off their penises yikes!) and they make gains with zero injuries. Yet other guys will injure themselves from doing a simple light stretch like measuring their stretched flaccid length.

Maybe it all has to do with warm up? I really have no idea. I’ve stopped all PE for now and rather learn more about it before I dwelve into it more deeply.

Also my penis hung to the left more than it did prior and was smaller both in length and girth.

Fast forward 11 months and there has been no change in the state of my penis. The shaft of my penis and scrotum remain numb, my penis in it’s flaccid state is now an inch smaller in length and about half an inch smaller in girth. I struggle to get an erection (something I never had a problem with before) and keeping hold of one is very difficult (I go from erect to completely flaccid in about 30secs if I don’t concentrate), I don’t know how much smaller my erection has got because I haven’t had an erection long enough to really compare.

In a word my life has been destroyed. I am now on anti-depressants and have broken up from my girlfriend of two years due to this. I was once a happy guy who enjoyed life, I now spend my days waiting to go back to sleep so I can forget everything. I recently saw a urologist who said he doesn’t know what I’ve done and can’t give me an answer to my problems. I was thinking of suing the “Extreme Male Beauty” programme as they featured no warning of the possible consequences of this exercise but decided this would be too embarassing considering the subject.

All this because I “jelqed” 20 times. So my advise to all of you on this board would be, fuck your penis size! Trust me, it’s not worth it. It looks like I’ve ruined my penis for life and I’d hate this to happen to someone else. Be happy with what you’ve got, penis size inferiority is an entirely male created problem! Women love you for who you are and the children you can give them, something I may not get the chance to experience now. So stop the jelqing and whatever else you are doing to your penis and enjoy your health, if you’ve got that you’re completely blessed .

I read about the DMSO and Iodine treatment here just recently and it may help the “firm flaccid” and other penis injuries.

I have started this week to do the treatment and already, after three days, noticed an increase in rigidity in my erections and ease in getting hard.

It may be placebo, but I’m going to continue the treatment twice a day.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.
