When first of all when I noticed an ache in my left thumb, (when you use the muscle that waggles it). I did not know what caused it, thinking I had just sprained it, reeling up some wire. It ached. Then after a bit of time the injury did not heal and when I have a muscle ache, I try and remember what I had been doing in the previous day or so. After a week or so I realised it was because of jelqing with it.

This injury is affecting my basic routine and the thing will not heal and stop hurting. The other danger is that it puts pressure on the right thumb, when I do a bit of light stretching. In the past I used to change hands (and thumbs) to do a few light pulls in the shower or after a piss.

So I guess I will have to stop pulling and jelqing for a while until things heal completely. Has anybody else had this injury and can anybody offer any advice, perhaps there is a physiotherapist on the forum. Thanks in anticipation, Diesel.

If it’s just one of the muscles at the base of your thumb (adductor pollicis group), give it a massage for a few minutes once a day, rest it as much as possible, and stick an ice pack on it a couple of times a day. It should recover in a few days.

If it doesn’t, you may have to consider other diagnosis options, for example Gamekeeper’s Thumb, if more localised in the ulnar collateral ligament. But it’s almost impossible to diagnose anything accurately over the web. Try the massage, ice and rest for a few days. If it doesn’t improve considerably and quickly, post again.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Thanks for all the input. I will follow the advice Firegoat. It has been with me a while now and part of the problem is not resting up after the initial injury. At the time I did not realise what was causing the pain in the adductor pollicicis group. The plan now is to stop jelqing and rest up a while and a bit of light massage on it. Thanks again, Diesel.

Bloody jelqers thumb has returned. The problem is that I do not jelq or PE in a strict routine. Stop for a week then continue with a vengeance. So I tend to go a bit over board with the routine. And do say 5 minutes twice a day of jelqing and and lots of stretching, which is hard on the thumbs. The penis is fine just the thumbs! It is quite painful. This is a sort of warning, it is not just your penis that needs to adjust to exercise. I will refrain and go on a PE sabbatical for a couple of weeks.
