Injury

Anyone else have advice? I’m now dealing with dry, red and cracked glans skin.

Hey everyone just an update. I’m doing a little better, erections are back. My main complaint though is my flaccid state. It seems so lifeless and just hangs low all day. I don’t think it did this before. I think this is maybe while I’m still a little sore. Any input. Almost like my urethra is weak or a ligament. I don’t know what’s going on.

Your flaccid state is just what it should be. That’s what flaccid means; limp, lifeless.

It sounds like you’re healing. It can take awhile from my understanding though, depending on the injury. I’ve got a slight injury right now but I think it’s healing. The penis doesn’t get as much blood flow as some body parts. I think it just heals slowly, and gets reinjured easily because of the slow healing and oyr tendency to not leave it alone.

I’ll say one thing, anxiety about your penis affects your penis. It causes turtling, sensations, cyclical thinking, and obsessive observation. Try to relax. You can get an erection! Let it rest though and purposely push thoughts of your penis out of your mind. Worrying does absolutely nothing to help. It’s useless, so actively fight it.

That is not fact; that is the opinion of someone who got hurt and got hurt mentally as well.

So after my pain had been doing better a dull ache is back. It’s on the left side and if I push slightly into the flaccid it starts aching. Am I dealing with scar tissue, vein issue or muscle something? Or something totally different? It’s been 3 months.

If it aches when you push stop pushing and give it more time to heal.

I’ve been dealing with something similar (although there’s no way to say specifically if it’s the same, so please understand it could be a different injury).

In PE there is a technique called manual clamping. It’d be similar to squeezing tightly as you describe, although to what degree and intensity would differ. What I did was a short manual clamp but as I was kegelimg blood in I think I moved my hand up slightly. The combined effect was that, I think, too much pressure was put on the glans, whether the end if the dorsal vein or the smaller veins and capillaries that go into the head I don’t know. Maybe both. Maybe the pressure affected the nerves there, though I’m not sure about that.

The thing was I felt a stinging pain and immediately stopped where I believe you didn’t notice anything until later. Also I have no pain at the base or red marks. I did get a sore urethra and burning/soreness in the glans, aggravated by erection or “use” (which I only did after a week very lightly.) Still it was a similar force applied I think as far as technique is concerned, though maybe not degree of force (I wasn’t squeezing with all my might or anything.)

What guessing (that’s all it is) happened might take awhile to heal depending on the severity. You say you are able to achieve an erection, so that’s good. The pipes are working. I do believe penis injuries take a long time to heal. To aid it, consider taking fish oil high in DHA (look at labdoor.com for the best quality, it matters), kyolic aged garlic(the advanced one for circulatory health), vitamin d3, vitamin c, tumeric(curcumin )and possibly something like osteobiflex (glucosamine, msm, frankincense).

Basically you want to avoid chronic inflammation while allowing beneficially inflammation. Sounds weird but acute inflammation is good and a sign of healing. Chromic inflammation is bad and gets in the way of healing.

Eat healthy, get sleep, quit over analyzing your penis (I mean don’t ignore obvious major issues like rash or fungal infection , which are not always tested for in STD screenings, like yeast infection that guys can get…or bleeding or something major)

My penis head is sore too but seems to be healing. I ordered a few things off amazon. Helichrysum oil (it’s expensive so if you decide to buy beware, lots of fakes, I trust plant therapy brand), st johns wart oil, some aloe vera gel, and some comfrey oil. All just to ward off excess inflammation. Warning: anything you apply to your penis should be tested on your arm first. Then a tiny amount of the base of your penis. Then a bit more. Point being, don’t irritate your dick. If you have a bad reaction it’s better to have on on your arm right?

Keep us posted. Honestly sounds like youre healing slowly. Just don’t reinjure by being rough with it.

I really appreciate your input! Glad to hear you’re healing. Yeah it’s just super weird! No pain until a while after and no pain during or directly after. No symptoms until about 1-2 weeks after..

Maybe I let it go to my head a bit but I surely have been having some pain and weirdness.

The glans inflammation is apparently topical and doc said it should go away with moisturizer. I just don’t know why it would come up all the sudden.

Had an erection yesterday and was able to masturbate pleasurably and normally but couldn’t make it bounce. I don’t know if I have a ligament thing going on or if it’s weak from lack of use. This may sound weird but it also seems huge now when I get an erection. Note, I’ve never done PE before.

We will get through this!

Anxiety and obsessive worry really affect it, more noticeably so than other body parts. That is not at all to say that the injury and pain aren’t there, just that it compounds more easily, especially with us prone to thought loops.

I’d rest as much as possible even if you had a successful use of the unit. Masturbation and sex are like a workout to the penis. Best to go easy in my opinion but I’m glad it sounds like you’re healing.

I’ve only masturbated twice since and this has been in the last 2 weeks. It’s almost like it was asking for me too, I didn’t Initiate it ha

Can anyone help me explain the fact that I can stop urine mid flow but when I do my penis no longer flinches. Also when I’m not peeing and try to kegel, my perineum feels like it’s weak and almost spasms.

Any clue as to why I’m still experiencing a dull ache, it’s more annoying than painful. It’s been almost 4 months. Am I totally screwed?
