Okay so I tried jelqing and squeezing for the first time on Wednesday 22nd January 2014.
Since then my penis has reduced size quite a lot and sometimes it feels hard when flaccid. Erections are much harder to get and when I do get them they are very weak (like 50%)
It’s been 6 days and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. A few veins are a little darker aswell.

Does anyone know how long this will take to heal, if it will heal?
I’m 18 years old if that helps

Have you been heating him at all ?
My advice , heat , heat , heat !

Hey guys, just an update, sorry for a late reply! I know it’s kinda long but I will appreciate it if I receive some replies :)

It’s been 4 weeks now.
Hard flaccid doesn’t seem to be happening as often, but it’s still there occasionally, I’ve had about 4 erections in the last month (I’ve been trying not to get them as often), all of which where about a 9 out of 10 EQ but they took a lot longer to get and took more work.
I’m also constantly turtling when sitting down, my balls are always almost pulling up into my body.
Overall I’ve lost some size when flaccid but it’s hard to tell seeing as I’m always turtling.
I went to a clinic 3 weeks ago and the doc there said I was fine and that I should leave it alone for a while. I also visited a different doctor who told me that I had an overactive cremaster muscle that was pulling my balls up constantly but said my penis looked fine, when clearly to me it doesn’t look normal otherwise I wouldn’t have gone there. He told me it can take a few weeks for this to return to normal and that was over 2 weeks ago, so I will have to wait a little longer to see if he’s right.
I’ve also noticed that when I have a semi erection that my penis feel stiff, and if I bend it say to the left, it kinda stays there, it doesn’t flop back to the middle like it should, I’m guessing that I overworked the penile tissue? Hoping this will recover. Seeing as I’m 18 healing should hopefully be on my side.
Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Two different doctors made the same diagnosis after direct examination. Would you expect guys who never examined you could do a better diagnosis? :) Let it heal, give it time and don’t worry.

I faced hard flaccid for a whole month last summer. It takes time bro, just that. A really good thing you can do to speed up the healing process is doing a lot of warm ups during the day with hot water and apply a little amount of arnica gel to your unit. Don’t jack off or PE but having sex would be really helpful trust me.

Edit: Just a quick tip, hard flaccid also involves 90% of the times your pelvic muscles to be really in tension. Try to understand if that’s your case, for me was and massaging the entire zone with hot water would also help a lot relaxing everything in your pelvic area.

Why would having sex be helpful but masturbating wouldn’t be?

To be honest I don’t have a scientific explanation for this, but penetration helps extend and relaxes your unit, and it’s also really wet, something your hand isn’t, you can wet yourself with oil and shit but if you are not carefull your hand can be rude on an injured penis.

Still no progress since my last update (almost 4 weeks ago)

So you had a noticeable improvement between 28 Jan and 21 Feb - your erections went from very weak to 9/10. How many erections have you had in the last month; more than 4? Has there really been no progress at all, or are you still experiencing the same symptoms but to a slightly lower/different degree?

The ‘hard-flaccid’ is often caused by tension in pelvic muscles (especially perineal muscles which can interfere with the pudendal nerve) and can persist until those muscles have been relaxed out and kept relaxed for a while. Over tensing of those muscles can easily become a habit that is hard to break. But they don’t usually affect the ability to get an erection.

It would be very unusual to get improvement for a month, then for it to stop, if the problems are coming from the original time of over-doing it, so I would expect the erections to have improved in frequency/hardness. The turtling and contracting testicles (cremaster/perineal muscles) I would only expect to improve with massage and active relaxation.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.
