Hiya guys,

As a lurker of about two months to the forum but one month since I started my journey, I’ve experienced my first injury. It was at this point I decided I should probably seek some advice.

I know that the post should definitely go in the injuries section, but I injured myself one week ago and am afraid waiting longer might be worse. If a mod could migrate the thread over, I’d much appreciate the help.

I was about 32 days into a PE beginners routine when, after a jelqing session, gave myself about five minutes of rest and wanked it. I noticed an immediate loss of erection, much faster than usual, that bothered me. For the next two days, I could not get hard. No erections whatsoever and hard flaccid. Morning erections returned the third day and I made the decision to go completely without porn or touching myself for a week. This injury was on August 25th, a Thursday. I gave myself an extra few days to be certain, and had a blowjob this Saturday because everything felt good. Even the hard flaccid appeared to be gone.

I felt something quite strange, when ejaculating, like the muscles responsible were clenching waaaay too hard. I played it cool and went home. The same thing pretty much happened. Now, I have what appears to be a fifteen degree torsion in my penis, hard flaccid symptoms once more, and loss of erection while standing. Morning erections are about 80%, normal erections can be achieved while sitting down, but both vanish almost immediately upon standing.

I’m 19 and attend university in the dorm. Currently, I have no health insurance, but I do have free clinic admittance for general issues.

I’m quite worried to be honest, but I am certainly mature enough not to freak out every fifteen minutes about the state of my dick. With you guys’s experience, what would you suggest?

Should I take a hit to the wallet and check out a urologist? As a student, money is kinda tight, but I’m not taking any shortcuts if it means lasting penile injury. Or should I give it another two weeks rest and update you guys on my condition? The hard flaccid and torsion is freaking weird, dudes.

Visit the urologist. After the clean bill of health is suggest the following. Try going 30 days with no porn, masturbation or PE.

Jelqing Injury - HF Update

Thanks for the welcome, Lenny.

I just went to a clinic and was told that there didn’t seem to be any major issues. The doc seemed pretty convinced there weren’t any serious predicaments. Urethra injury would explain the urinary incontinence and could take two weeks to heal. I asked him about the physical change to my penis, I have a new fifteen degree torsion and “hard flaccid,” he told me to maybe see a urologist. The improvement in my erections so far is a promising outlook but he couldn’t give me a reason for the torsion and HF.

Scheduling urologists is crazy difficult if you don’t have insurance. I’ve been rejected by three of them already. Still working on it now.

You probably strained your PC/BC muscles. Do reverse kegels and hindi squats. Avoid the regular kegels until everything is normal again.

I’m pretty sure with plenty of rest you will be fine, just don’t touch your unit, in pretty sure is just overworked, muscles as well.

I strongly recommend a small bromeline medicine/painkiller to take daily for a while, makes wonders for me always and it’s basically pineapple.

Hi everyone, I truly appreciate your correspondence.

So last Friday at about 1 AM, I had a severe and intense pain in my urethra after urinating. It felt like pee was still inside the penis. I rushed to the ER after an hour of enduring this and called up my dad. The doctor came in, asked me to take a urine test. After I did the test, I felt so relieved. The irritation was still there but the burning was lessened by at least a factor of 10. Their conclusion was that the injury damaged my urethra and I likely had swelling in the penis’s spongy tissue causing me to have incomplete voiding. This means that I don’t flush out all the urine, essentially. The result is local irritation in the urethra that causes intense pain.

I went to a urologist later that day, after about two hours of calling around, to get it checked out. All he did was a physical exam, but he basically concluded the same thing. The solution, he says, is to rest completely for 6 weeks while completely avoiding touching the area. I’m going to follow his advice, GUARANTEED, and as he recommended, wait until mid-October before going to see him again.

Now, maybe I’m just being skeptical, but I really don’t see how a urethra injury would be causing me weaker bowel movements and urine flow. It feels like when I am excreting, the stuff gets to the “exit” but I can’t push it out. A few hours later, I try again and it’ll work. The urine problem is the same.

I see some of you recommended “Hindu squats” and “reverse kegel.” I’ll wait until the 6 weeks are up before I start doing anything again.

Could I ask you guys for some advice though? Are there any specific tests I should ask for if I have to see the urologist again? Where can I get help for weakness in the pelvic muscles? I live in the Dallas, TX area. Thankfully, I bought student health insurance from my university effective next week, so my options have definitely just opened up.

Again, thank you guys so much. I’ve explained the entirety of my injury to my dad, but the fact I can come here and get advice is a godsend.

Is there a way for a mod to change a thread title? I feel like “injury advice” isn’t as apt a description as “urinary/bowel problems after jelqing and climax.” Just thinking it would be more helpful for others with this symptom.

I’ve seen a decline rather than improvement, to be honest. I’ve been constipated for two days, just had a bowel movement yesterday, and suffered from a horrible burning in the rectum. Thankfully, no blood on the tissue paper. I had it again later that night, and was shaking for three minutes in agony. Sat in a warm bath for a bit and I felt okay again.

Thanks for doing this for me. I think “urinary/bowel problems after jelqing and masturbating” is straightforward about the situation.

You shouldn’t wait to do reverse kegels, they will only help and they won’t worsen your injury unless you strain and push really really hard while doing them. Reverse kegels help loosen up tight muscles in your pelvis which could make it a bit easier for you to urinate and have bowel movements, and it helps with hard flaccid a bit.

Also don’t strain yourself while having a bowel movement. If it isn’t happening then give up and try again later.

So I did as you suggested and did 5 sets of 10 reverse kegels. I did them very lightly, but I immediately got an extremely cold feeling in the penis after doing them. I wouldn’t want to exacerbate my injury and I don’t know what this feeling signifies.

Just to clarify, reverse kegels is just a light “pushing out,” right? Similar to when you are stealthily trying to pass gas?

Yeah, that’s what a reverse kegel is.
That’s weird though. With hard flaccid reverse kegels usually help allow more blood to get into your glans so your penis should be less cold.
Were you doing them rapidly?
You’re supposed to do reverse kegels laying down on your back, and slowly like you push out gently but firmly and continuously for 2-5 seconds, then release, and wait a few more seconds and then do another one for 2-5 seconds. And you don’t need to do them in sets like an exercise, just do a few every few hours or whenever your pelvis feels tight.
Definitely don’t do them anymore if it made your penis cold, it is supposed to have the opposite effect. Normal kegels can make hard flaccid worse, but I’ve only heard of reverse kegels helping with hard flaccid.
And by cold feeling do you mean your penis felt cold to the touch, or like you got a cold feeling in your penis?
Have you had numbness in your penis at all? Maybe the cold feeling was like when you sleep on your arm and cut off blood circulation and your arm goes numb, and you get a cold prickly feeling when blood starts to re-enter your arm. Was it like that but with your penis?
If reverse kegels made your penis physically colder, don’t do them anymore, and I’m sorry I insisted you to do them.

Been there, done that.

Physical therapist recommended kegels. Slightly different ones from the norm (In stages, inward, outward, yada yada) and all cleared up. I had no infections or anything along those lines so it seemed to be stress related.
