Injections once pills fail
Just wanted to presuade anyone suffer from long term ED (organic or not) to try injections in ED pills stop working.
A bit about me: I’m 33 years old and devorced. I developed ED almost two years ago before I ever found this site. At first pills worked great but it only took 6 months for them to stop being reliable and after 9 months there was almost no point taking them. I didn’t have another penatrable erection for another 6 months. I pressed the issue with my urologist and told him I wanted to try injections. He said yes but first he made me do a doppler scan of a chemically induced erection which was pretty embarrassing. The results of the scan was that I had good inflow and outflow of blood in my penis. The urologist prescribed my caverject and I did a trial injection of the drug at his office. Only problem with caverject was it cost 110$ a shot and you had to wait for you pharmacy to recieve a shipment from the supplier every time you wanted to pick up a two shot pack. After a few months my pharmacy told me the supplier was out of stock with out a resupply date. My urologist would not prescribe me any other kind of injection so I saw a new doctor at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. I was very peptimistic at this point and felt extremely self conscious waiting outside the doctors office with a bunch of senior citizens. This was the turning point. When I met my new urologist he was very understanding. Even though he thought there was a possibility of they ED being psychological or neurological he prescribed me a drug called trimix which is made by the pharmacy at a very cheap cost. Now instead of paying 110$ for a shot it cost about 3$ a shot. Even though I received the lowest concentration of trimix drug I only have to inject 4 units of it to recieve a 3 hour erection (I only take 4 units, the max is 100). I have even noticed pills working again and have taking them on days I don’t inject to great success. The past 10 days I have taken pills 3 times and it has worked every time.
If you find pills stop working for you (and you don’t have a venous leak) it is worth the humiliation time and money to see if injections can work for you. Also just because injections don’t work at first does not mean to stop trying them. The first injection I had was composed of only 1 active drug ingredient and the injection kit only came in 10 units. From here you can get prescribed with bimix(2 active drug ingredients) or trimix (3) or quadmix (4), also these drugs can be mixed weak to strong and you can inject up to 100 units at a time.
