Erectile dysfunction after jelqing. Loss of Sensation. Injury Questions. Please help.

Please move to the injury forum. I got injured a couple weeks ago from jelqing with the “ok” grip with a full erection. (Yes I know I’m stupid). I think when I injured myself, I lost my boner and wasn’t able to get hard anymore. There wasn’t any pain or anything though. I haven’t masturbated in 8 days since I’m trying to rest it.

When having sex with my gf a few days after the injury, I noticed a loss of sensation. I wasn’t feeling all parts of my dick. Also there was some numbness on the top of the shaft. My flaccid dick was also smaller than it usually is, though that seems to vary now. Sometimes it’s bigger, sometimes very small and turtling, but it’s never hard. So I don’t have hard flaccid.

I’m afraid I broke a nerve or have venous leak :(

How long do I have to rest? I’m afraid I may have done permanent damage. I was jacking off and having sex in the few days after the injury. I shouldn’t have done that, I didn’t know any better.

I’ve been getting morning wood, and a couple of days ago it even curved upward at like 90-95% EQ. But today it wasn’t as strong and disappeared quickly after I stood up. Is getting morning wood a good sign? My glans also feels like it lost a little bit of sensation. Not as sensitive to touch as my shaft.

The past week I’ve been taking two hot baths a day, B complex, Ginko Biloba, Panax (Korean) Ginseng, NerveFix, Vitamin E, 4000 mg l-argitine. Do I have permanent damage? What can I do to get better? I’m so scared right now. Thank you for reading!

It’s hard to say exactly what you injured, but rest assured that the body is designed to heal.
Loss of flaccid size and decrease erectile performance are normal following an injury. Your parts are responding to the injury by limiting your ability to worsen it.
Tissue dysfunction is a hallmark of inflammation and inflammation is a process to bring about healing to injured tissue.

Take it easy, for now. I’d lay off the jelqing for at least a week or two.
If it hurts, don’t do it. And if your member doesn’t want to play, don’t try to force it.

I agree with Phil, take it easy. I have been around here a little while and heard of similar injuries. They too masturbated and seemed to go back a few steps. Keep doing what you do, don’t preoccupy yourself with it (I know, easier said than done) and just relax. Not sure how much your supps are really going to help you, but they should at least be good for circulation. Keep an eye on your night-boners. Waking with one is a good sign. If you don’t have one at all in 5 days when you usually did have one, then raise an eyebrow but it’s still too early to panic. If I remember right, the person this also happened to took 3 weeks to fully recover and that included abstaining from ejac. He also stopped PE for a further month and came back and took more care during the exercises. Honestly, just relax a little and to recover, just leave it alone.

When you get an erection in the coming week - and I am sure you will - fight the urge to mess with it! Someone proposed gentle edging might help but not to ejac. This can be difficult especially giving the time-frame, but it may give you some satisfaction. Slow and gentle though, for sure.

Thank you. What does night boners mean? Does it mean getting a boner right before I sleep? Or in the middle of the night? Because a couple of days ago as I was getting ready to sleep, I got a pretty strong boner that curved upwards. This hasn’t happened since, and only happened that one time. I’ve also woken up in the middle of the night and was able to get a 90% EQ boner. It’s just during the day I’m unable to :(

I’m afraid I may have relapsed a little. Today my glans was feeling more numb than usual. I didn’t masturbate. I did massage my dick yesterday a little though, maybe that’s what caused it? Sigh.

Night boners, or more accurately “nocturnal erections” are the erections a man generally gets during the night, occurring in parts of the sleep cycle. I think the fact you are getting them during the night are a good indication nothing serious has occurred there, and things are probably going to be okay!

Massage should generally be fine, but probably best just to use it for peeing for the time being. Give it a couple of weeks, honestly I think you’ll be alright from everything I have seen/read/experienced but you need to rest it and lay off the PE for a while even once you believe you have recovered.

Wanted to give an update:

I realized I do have hard flaccid sometimes. When I stand up, my flaccid dick sometimes becomes shorter and becomes harder. Assuming I caused nerve damage in my penis from my jelqing injury, why does it go into hard flaccid? Does anyone know what’s the science behind that? Why does nerve damage cause hard flaccid?

I’ve been having morning wood the past few mornings with 90% EQ, and curving upward which is good. This morning I was able to maintain my boner in bed for over 1 minute, but as soon as I stood up I lost it. The same happened yesterday. I’m unable to maintain my boner if I stand up.

What concerns me, is the past 2 mornings, I woke up with a numb dick, especially the glans. This is after my morning wood, and I fall asleep again. When I wake up again, it’s flaccid and numb. It felt rubbery and could barely sense any touch. It was very scary. Is it because I tried to maintain my morning wood boner and try not to lose it? Seems to get a tiny bit better after a warm bath, but during the day my dick temperature is cold, especially the glans.

Today I wasn’t able to get a full boner for my morning wood. This is very discouraging. I haven’t masturbated since December 19th. My flaccid dick seems small, the base seems small. Head is still kind of not fully sensitive. Sigh.

Be prepared for a long and depressing ride. This happened to me over 5 months ago and it is still not fully healed. However, the feeling is starting to get close to normal (Maybe 80-85%). I went through a shit ton of various symptoms during recovery including a completely numb and white glans in addition to the shaft, hard flaccid, really soft or non-existent morning wood for a while, changes in flaccid appearance, etc. Be patient, leave it alone and let your body heal.

Peripheral nerves are links to your brain and spinal cord . They are string like nerves that run through your body . If they are stretched too hard or you apply too much pressure these nerves can be damaged , Which will cause tingling and numbness . If this happens they can heal over time . But if the damage is server you should get medical care to prevent loss of function .

I don’t really feel tingling. Does that mean I’m not healing? My injury happened a month ago. I did feel numbness in the beginning. I think that’s getting better though. How severe is severe? I injured myself doing jelqing.

I had the same problem ,I lost allot of feeling in my penis could get a erection but it would go back down fast . And I know it was from jelging . I also lost size on my penis I went from 6 1/2 meg to 61/4 and from 8 7/8 BPEL to a 8 1/4 . I can’t tell what you should do ,my injury only lasted a week . If its been a month and your still not better ,I would go see your doctor . But what I did was I got me a penis pump and pumped lightly , Now I’m almost back to normal ,and getting good hard erections . Now if I jelg I will grip the base tight with a C shaped grip , not an OK grip and but I only go half way up my penis and let go ,because there are nerves on the left and right sides of your penis .and you don’t want too damage them . And severe is crushed or broken !

If you are injured , you don’t need bro science you need medical knowledge . These sites are good if you want to try to make your dick bigger . But we are not all Urologists , and that is more than likely what you need.

What has your firsthand experience been with urologists?

I actually injured my penis the first time 3 years ago , And I could not stay hard for more than a minute . After about an year I went to a Urologist and he informed me on what I had done to my self . He told me not to do the penis exercises any more ,and prescribed Cialis . And that did not work all the time. It really messed with my head . But I have always felt small because my brothers are huge ,so I always end up doing PE again and searching for ways too make my dick bigger . Hurt my dick again 3 weeks ago and came here to try to find out if other people have done the same thing . Or if I was the only one who keeps screwing up my dick, and seeing that others had made some of the same mistakes I thought I could share what I learned from my Urologist and ignored the first time I screwed up .
