Around 6 years ago I started PE with the newbie routine and worked my way to the more advanced stretches over about a 3 month period. I did notice gains in length but also started to develop a turkey neck and stopped. Fast forward to around December 26/27 of 2015 and I started the newbie routine again in search of more girth this time. The first day back I was able to complete the stretching portion and all 100 jelqs effectively, I was also able to maintain a very strong erection after the exercises. The next day I went to follow the same routine and all was well until I tried to jelq. I noticed I was only able to get to around 30/40% erect for about 10 jelqs at a time before completely losing my erection. I decided to stop at around 40 jelqs because I wasn’t getting any quality reps. Since that last session I’ve been unable to achieve a full erection or even maintain a semi hard erection. My penis does not appear to have any unusual discoloration and I do not have a hard flaccid penis, it hangs about the same as before I jelqed. What confuses me is that I was able to do way more vigorous PE years ago and have normal erections but this time during light PE I have injured myself? I was also doing 50 kegels a day since December 26th but have recently stopped in case it is my pelvic muscle that is tired but I don’t see that as being the case as 50 is not an insane number.

I’ve read the other cases online of people injuring their penis after jelqing and I’ve yet to find a case in which their ED improves over time. I was just curious if anyone does know of cases in which people have been able to attain erections after injuring their penis as I’m losing hope. I lift weights regularly and I have incorporated more cardio recently. I have also started to take l-arginine and ginkgo biloba on top of my usual fish oil and multi-vitamins in order to cover all bases of ED.

I think you are overtrained. Unless you did something extremely stupid with some exercise, it’s almost impossible to get ED from simple jelqing.

Take some rest and I think things will come back good.

Sure, sometimes when I overtrain takes me almost more than 2 weeks to get my EQ back.

Also if you don’t mind, would be nice if you link me where you read about simple jelqing injuries, cause I never found one in two years.

This morning I woke up with a small morning wood probably like 15-20% strength. I don’t remember getting morning wood at all before this morning so maybe it is an improvement. I just don’t see how I could’ve over trained with barely 140 jelqs and some kegels.

I googled ED caused by jelqing and found other similar cases.

Jelqing wrongfully, you can get over-trained with less than 1/2 of that, by doing: tight grip (too much pressure), quick strokes, high erections levels.

I know my erection levels were below 50% and I tried to hit 2 secs each stroke so I guess it would have to be the grip strength. I didn’t feel like I was gripping too tight. I’m just surprised I could ruin my EQ so bad when I’ve done way harder jelqing sessions years ago.

Since this started after I jelqed and not before I assume that doing kegels would only hurt my recovery at this point and I should just rest longer?

Rest for a few weeks. I got over-trained too, a while back and took about a month to recovery. At that time, did everything I can to recovery as quick as I can: first thing I put away was masturbation. Rest and in no time you will be 100% again.

I don’t think there is a single documented case of ED caused by jelqing. Not even penile fracture is a cause of permanent impotence. You can read many things online, like you can hear many tales at the pub.

When you overtrain, you can have ED for some weeks. The penis goes into a defensive state, so to speak, trying to recover from the stress. Coupled with anxiety, bad habits, and sometimes with preexisting issues, ED can last for long time. The best you can do is leaving it alone, doing physical activity (expecially hard legs and abs work, which push fresh blood in your groins) and relax with you friends, wife or whoever.

I was able to get erections but they used to not last for very long.

Ok thanks for your help guys. I’ve read your posts on multiple threads similar to this marinera so I’ll trust your experience. Guys like rummy and willy Wonka who haven’t improved worry me though.

In a forum with tens of thousands of posters, you can find anything. We had people who reported penis nerve damage while swimming or doing other sports. Now you could start worrying that you have become impotent because have swimmed or played soccer a lot in the last days. Strange things do happen; but in rare cases. Otherwise wouldn’t be strange. :)

I don’t know how old you are, but 6 years could be enought time for T levels in the body to lower. If your T levels are low, your EQ will likely suffer way more from PE than before, and take way more time to recover. Other things: do you drink? Do you smoke? You get what I mean. In 6 years a lot of things can change.

I’m 26. I drink occasionally and don’t smoke and I’m pretty certain it isn’t a lifestyle aspect because it happened so quickly after jelqing and I was able to achieve full erections before that. I’m 6’2 and 220 lbs at around 11% body fat last time I calipered. I don’t believe it’s testosterone because of the muscle growth. I’ll just chalk it up to over training and subsequent anxiety over the issue. Thanks for your time.
