Dull pain above pubic bone

I don’t believe this to be related to PE as I currently only clamp, no stretching or hanging or even jelqing. I figured this would still be a good place to post as some of you chaps know a lot about that area.

So, to pinpoint the area better. It’s directly above the penis (approx 1 inch higher), and only on the left side,, I’d say in front of the pubic bone, nearer to the thigh rather than the centre. When feeling the area, there is a more central point that causes discomfort/light pain.

I first noticed the pain whilst sleeping around 4-5 days ago. I woke up all of a sudden and had this sharp uncomfortable pain. Something I’ve never felt before. I moved around into a different position and after 30 seconds, I must have fallen back asleep. The pain has been noticeable since.

I’ll hold off seeing a Doctor for another week unless the pain gets worse.

How are you been doing your kegels?

Around that region you have just mentioned, could be an situation at your pelvic floor muscles.

Thanks for the reply Lenny. I don’t consciously or purposely do kegels. Nor do I think they would influence the area I have discomfort/pain. Doing a few kegels now have no affect on the pain.

Had you been doing any heavy lifting recently before the pain?

Thanks for the reply firegoat! I hadn’t lifted weights for many many years. But I did start this year and have kept it up, lifting a small amount a few times a week. In my opinion it’s a very light routine and only takes a few minutes.

2 sets of 8 x 25lb above head in front.
2 sets of 8 x 25lb above head behind neck
2 sets of 8 x 25lb bicep curl
20 pressups and a few squats with no weight

I do not recall having any pain during the lifting exercise or immediately after. It would have been an hour or so after exercising that I went to bed and I think several hours into sleeping that I felt the pain.

Better to not lift any more weights until you get it checked out, in case it’s a hernia.

That’s why I was asking. It’s in the right place for a hernia, but rather than just suggest a hernia I wanted to know if there was any reason to suspect one.
