DMSO + Iodine Experimental Treatment for Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid

I find that after strenuous extending and/or pumping my glans and/or base ache a lot and if I apply vitamin E oil followed by an application of DMSO/iodine the aching goes away a lot sooner than if I do nothing.

I have been using DMSO/iodine for about three years with only positive results.

Buy 6 bottles at a time (or more) and it works out to $10 a bottle (or less), which will last an extremely long time.

-In regards to the effectiveness of DMSO + Iodine to treat soft glans, I imagine. I am very interested as well, since I’ve had absolutely no luck with any other therapies.

At this point does anyone recommend this as a treatment for soft glans?

I believe soft glan maybe due to pornography or at least in part. There is evidence to suggest that heavy or even moderate porn use can chemicals within the brain. It can also lead to anxiety which seem prevalent within our condition. There are people on porn addiction forums with similar soft glan issues. We may have desensitized or over-sensitized pathways in our brains.

People have managed to return to a full libido and improve erections given sufficient rest. I noticed some improvements when abstaining from orgasm for like 50 days. I also have pre-mature ejaculation. Does anyone else suffer with that to?

I have never done P.E but still have a soft glan I might add. Wondering if anyone has done a bout of abstinence before? It may take a while 100 days + I might add.

I’m going to give this a shot and I accidentally got thyroid nascent iodine tincture.. I just read on here that tincture is the wrong iodine.. I guess I need detoxified iodine? Anyways, if someone could please confirm or deny this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if this is the wrong iodine, is there anything I can use it for?

I’ve been with this thread from the beginning so am probably reasonably qualified to answer this for you. I would not recommend it as a treatment for soft glans. The DMSO/iodine combo seems to be good for removing scar tissue in the penis (or wherever you may be using it) but in the vast majority of cases the soft glans/hard flaccid symptoms are caused by muscular dysfunction in the pelvic floor area (and there is in fact nothing physically wrong with the penis at all!). It’s not impossible that application of the treatment to the pelvic floor region may help in fixing the symptoms but on it’s own it will never fix anything, in my opinion.

If it is pure nascent iodine you’re probably okay, but I’ll double check for you. If you would post a link to the site you bought the stuff from I can probably tell you one way or the other.

Hey Tweaking, thanks very much. Here is a direct link to what I bought. I chose the first bottle on the left. This is taken from x10d second or third post. I just read today that tincture is bad so I thought id run it by you guys first. I’ve been extremely depressed due to my condition. I’m really hoping this will be the answer I’ve been looking for.. Thanks again.

That stuff will be fine. In this case tincture just means that the active component (the nascent iodine) is held in a solution of ethanol, so when you apply it to your sensitive parts it may sting a little but it’s nothing to worry about. Notice the guy actually spells tincture wrong, missing the ‘c’; I don’t think spelling is his strong point - at another part of the site the same product is offered but the word ‘tintute’ isn’t present. As for the word ‘thyroid’, - he is selling the nascent iodine primarily as a thyroid dysfunction treatment but there should be no harm in using it if you’re thyroid functions normally, in fact it’s good for you anyway, I think just read the instructions and don’t use it too much.

Tweaking this is very appreciated.

Tweaking, what would you recommend this “treatment” for?
I am having numbness issues in the penis skin area, following non-heroic mild stretching I have done almost a year ago now..
There story of scar tissue is appealing.. And that it could affect the way the nerves innervate the skin..

Would it be worth a try in my case? Thanks

I’m having a procedure with a needle next week and wanted to use a topical anesthetic beforehand to numb the area. I’ve bought some EMLA cream, but today I read that a more effective topical is DMSO mixed with Lidocaine. Since my EMLA cream contains 25% Lidocaine I was planning on mixing this with some DMSO. However, I wanted to check if any of the other ingredients could be harmful if applied when mixed with DMSO. The other ingredients are polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, Carbomer 974P, sodium hydroxide, purified water and Prilocaine. I’d be grateful to hear the opinions of members who know a bit about this kind of thing.

Thanks

I bought some nascent iodine that is labeled Detroxadine. It’s an oral supplement. It’s quite thick and oily. It contains 1,347mcg of iodine as well as USP Kosher certified vegetable glycerine and purified water. I apply DMSO, which I’ve been doing for a while, and then the iodine. Does the fact that the iodine is oily prevent it from being absorbed into my skin?
