DMSO + Iodine Experimental Treatment for Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid

I do not think that Peyronie’s Disease and Hard Flaccid are unrelated. I believe that having constricting scar tissue within the penis contributes to pelvic floor tension, and that the physical pain the peyronie’s sufferers sometimes have certainly can.

What you’re saying may very well be true, but I don’t think it’s very likely, at least not in being a substantial cause. Certainly most people with Peyronie’s don’t seem to have the firm flaccid symptoms. Still, I certainly agree that scar tissue will make the firm flaccid symptoms worse, I just don’t think it would cause them in and of itself, even if it were doing so by having some impact on the pelvic floor.

How was it?

I’m seeing the pelvic floor specialist the day after tomorrow, can you please contribute?

Thanks! :-)

Conquering my goals.

It was fine. She had not previously seem someone with symptoms like hard flaccid but when I explained them to her and that I thought they were as a result of CPPS (which she had treated many times before) she nodded in agreement and said that it makes sense. She asked me a heap of questions and at the end did a short ‘rectal exam’. Embarrassing but not the end of the world. She said all the muscles are definitely way too highly toned and she can feel that it’s not right. Tomorrow I’m going back for my first treatment session.

She also prescribed multiple daily pelvic stretches and gave me a relaxation CD designed specifically for the pelvic floor.

Everyone this is a very interesting thread. I have just read through it all and will give it a shot. Primarily to help with discolouration and deflated glans, secondly to possibly help reduce any scaring tissue that may have accumulated over months of PE. I ordered the nascent iodine today and want to also get the dmso.

However I have a question regarding the dmso. I have found two types that seem to be the best and are from reliable sources. Please could some of the experienced users tell me which is better if any:

1: A 99.9% dmso liquid that seems to be sold everywhere and always comes with the following caution: “The choice of the process used in the various applications is the sole responsibility of the user. It is unlawful to represent in any way that this product is useful or safe to use for medicinal purposes.”… I understand that that statement is a legal requirement and it looks like most of you are using it anyway :)

2: A 99.8% dmso gel which is sold from a reputable supplier. This one has the following testament: “there are many grades of DMSO on the market including industrial grades. Be aware of cheap variations – your long-term health could depend on it. Dr Jacob has 25 years’ experience with DMSO with many clinical trials to back up his claims.”… this one is sold as a Pharmaceutical grade dmso to treat ache, skin ulcers, herpes etc..

Any insight would be much appreciated

It doesn’t really matter. All the sources try to toot their own horn. I’m not sure gel is as good an option because it may not mix with the iodine as well as in a liquid form, I’m not sure about that though. Industrial grade 99.99% is absolutely fine, it’s what I used and I had no problems whatsoever.

Good stuff mate, unless anyone chimes in I will order the industrial grade 99.9% stuff tomorrow (It’s 2am here at the moment!)

Even if you get the 99.99% one, you’d still have to most likely mix in water to dilute it. With that in mind, the better option might be something like a 70/30 mix of DMSO and distilled water; which is what I ordered. It seems a better value to go with that in my opinion. A good company is Nature’s Gift which is available on various supplement websites and Amazon.com.

yes I did come across that company when searching. Has the 70/30 mix been working for you?

I haven’t yet received it actually. It’s to be delivered today in a couple of hours. But the company is legit and their products always get good reviews so I expect it’ll be good.

Well as long as the 70/30 mix still does the same job then I’m good with that

While looking for DMSO I came to the same conclusion as you dicker even though I had never applied it before. I just figured 99% was too strong to apply straight and I’d have to dilute it with distilled water anyway.

Well, yesterday I had my first treatment, the PT told me that I have almost zero activity in the pelvic floor due to the tightness I have there (almost nothing happens when I kegel/reverse kegel), she said that my whole posture is bad and that I have work to do :) I’m using my abdomen all the time, basically I have a habit of holding my stomach in which isn’t good, I also have many trigger points etc’.
She gave me some kind of a whistle which should help me learn how to work with my pelvic floor, basically you put it in your mouth, it’s kind of sealed in the end and you need to get all the air out of your longs through your nose and then empty the rest of the air into the whistle while not using your abdomen muscles for the cause, boy.. This is HARD (you should also get your butt up, hard to explain)

She said she have a lot of internal work to do (outer too) and this is really promising, she was very nice and very professional.

She told me not to kegel until I’ll learn how to work my pelvic muscles, I need to learn how to relax the area, I have a lot of stretches and lengthening to do.

Keep us updated.
