I would like to contribute with a little note to this thread.

I have always had a deflated glans, even during hard erection. At some times during sex i would hurt alot and it would be my breve “string” that was to short that caused the problem. After doing some thinking, and experimenting i concluded one thing:

When i jerk of (slowly) so that the foreskin is fully/max retracted while also kegeling hard to get alot of blood into my glans i noticed the string pulling hard on my whole glans, and therefore decreasing its size (pushing blood out of it). I’ve also had some problems before during sex when the string has almost snapped, so i went to a doctor. I had a frenulum plasticity and im now in my third healing week, almost fully healed. I’ve actually noticed a better EQ in my glans during my regular jerk-offs :) It’s a bit bigger and fuller.

Guys I’ve been researching this and I just have some questions about hard flaccid. So when I am cold, or not 100 percent warm or “calmed down” my penis feel hard in the middle, and somewhat around the whole thing. I also at times notice this in general, but usually when I am moving around a lot or not totally relaxed. I have been taking a break from PE except kegels and reverse kegels every know and again. Going to work on pelvic stretches and yoga for some times. I also had a incident before sex a few weeks ago where I was versions and my penis got like flaccid, but hard. Am I just imagining I have an issue? Or do I? If someone could talk with me on this one let me know

1234qw25 if it’s not a constant problem and only happens when you are a bit anxious, cold etc., then it’s not really a problem. Most guys, me included, will get times when that happens. It’s a bit like when a scary part of a horror film is coming up and you find you are involuntarily holding your breath; it’s just a temporary reaction of the nervous system. Until guys heard of ‘hard flaccid’ they would not have considered there was anything ‘wrong’ when these temporary events occurred.

I’m a male, 28 years old. Whenever I try to do kegels, I can only tighten my BC muscle for less than one second before it ripples/shakes, as if it’s exhausted.
I have used a biofeedback device and the results indicate that my BC muscle is ‘very weak.’
No matter how much I try to kegel, I can’t seem to strengthen the muscle.
When I ejaculate, semen slowly oozes out. I can’t project it, not even an inch.

I never get spontaneous erections, *ever (including while I’m asleep). My corpus spongiosum and glans will not hold (blood) pressure. They go soft while I’m masturbating.
My ex-girlfriend once commented, “Why don’t you get hard all the way?” She noticed that only a portion of my penis (the corpus cavernosum) gets erect.

I’ve been masturbating daily for 13+ years. Sometimes as much as 3x per day, but usually just once. I typically spend at least 30-60 minutes per session while browsing pornography.
I got into a (bad?) habit over the years of tightening my BC muscle extensively while masturbating, even while ejaculating.
I tried quitting for a month and leaving everything alone, but things seemed worse. I saw no improvement in spontaneous erections. When I finally went to masturbate again, I ejaculated without ever getting erect (while flaccid).

A few years back a urologist found a varicocele at the base of my penis on the left side, and a hydrocele. The doctor didn’t recommend treatment for either.

I used to have this problem and still do from time to time. There are a lot of factors in a person’s life that can effect erections. In your case, I would say that the problem is 70% mental, 20% habits and 10% physical.

Lets tackle the 10% physical first. You are 28 years old and your body is starting to feel the effects of aging. You should adopt a regimented physical training program which includes cardiovascular fitness, weight training and a PE routine called the Newbie Routine. This will help you strengthen your muscles, increase your blood flow and make you feel better about yourself.

20% habits: The number one issue with this is porn. Pornography overstimulates you using perfect actors/actresses engaged in fake sex in unrealistic situations. Your mind was never designed to be overloaded with this kind of sexual input. Where just the sight of a woman’s breast would give you an erection, now you need (insert your preferred sexual stimulant here) to maintain the same amount of sexual satisfaction. No real woman can offer you what porn can which sets you up for failure. Ejaculation while your penis is flaccid is also problematic. It creates in your mind the perception that you don’t have to get hard for intercourse. Teach yourself to ejaculate only when you are hard and later on command by learning how to edge.

70% Mental: This is the easiest to understand but the most difficult to control. The loss of an erection sets your mind into motion that there is a problem. That concern turns into anxiety which causes the loss of erection which causes more anxiety. This is a vicious cycle that is almost impossible to break. Doing so requires you to learn not to care if your penis gets hard or stays hard. Learning to love yourself and your body and enjoy life will go a long way to help you recover from this.

How I have improved my soft glans

Hello dear members,

First of all I would like to apologies in advance for my English because this is not my mother tongue.

I swore to myself that I would share my experience with you guys if I improved my soft glans issue. I know how hard it can be psychologically so I want to help as much as I can. So here we are, I don’t have any magic trick, just a few things I have learned from my experience and that have made things much better.

I don’t have any significant track record in PE, because I have always had some bad signals (like soft glans worse than ever and ultra sensitive ejaculation) even if I tried it very very carefully. I guess this is probably due to my dorsal vein which seems to be one of the reason of my soft glans issue.

So back to the main topic. My soft glans issue was not always very pronounced. It got awful two years ago for one year and I don’t have any real explanation. I could not have any intercourse because it made penetration strictly impossible. The glans was soft while the rest of the cock was hard, sometimes rock hard. It was so bad that the erection I got while sleeping woke me up: the shaft was so freaking hard that it was painful. Even when I was flaccid I noticed the glans was more White and very sensitive (as if it was not irrigated correctly). Sometimes the skin was leaving. In the same time my sex drive went to zero. I felt so upset that I got sick and lost my self confidence.

Where I am now: I have not totally fixed the situation but I can have some very pleasurable intercourse and give a lot of pleasure to my partner.

To me, the most important thing is to lubricate the penis and the vagina as much as possible. Sometimes my soft glans comes back and lubrication saves me.

Then, you got to be horny. Hell yeah, sex drive is very important in my opinion. Even when my soft glans issue was very strong I noticed that my glans became much harder and red (irrigated) when I was about to come, in other words when I was very excited. I know this can be very hard to get your sexual drive back but that is another topic.

What I did is I stopped masturbating as I did for several years because I’m pretty sure I applied to much pressure. My dorsal vein is very visible and the trouble comes back more significantly when I have been masturbated or sucked quite strongly by a partner. I also noticed that my pelvic muscle could help me to maintain the blood (kegel and reverse kegel). Indeed I also feel that my pelvic floor is quite weak. At this stage I am not able to say if my problem comes from the vein or the pelvic floor but I’m pretty sure it comes from one of the two issues if not from both of them.

Anyway I’ll know try to be synthetic, situation is very good but not perfect, here are my advises:
- Lubricate your penis and the vagina a lot
- Try to have a strong sex drive
- Stop masturbating or do it very softly
- Kegel and reverse kegel
- Be ready to fail even if it can be very embarrassing in front of a girl. If it is too hard for you, pick up a girl who will disappear from your life the day after. It won’t hurt your reputation. Some girls might even be very cool with it and help you get rid of it. Failure is part of the recovery process. Buy a fake vagina to train yourself if need be because you can’t let this issue destroy your life without trying anything.

Hope this will help some of you guys. If I make some more progress and find some other explanations I will let you know.

I have been experimenting with my ADD medication (concerta) after I suddenly realized my hard flaccid days were always days I had taken my meds.

Seems metamphetamines can give fake (or real) hard flaccid symptoms. This might be interesting cause metamphetamines are also vasoconstrictors. Or it might not be interesting at all.

Figured I should make a post.
