Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid: Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

does having firm flaccid make your libido go down? how about if you have a venous leak?

If you think you have venous leakage, go have a cavernosogram. Question answered.

Starting Stats - 5.5 BPEL x 5.6 EG

Current Stats - 6.1 BPEL x 7.1 EG

Goal - 7 x 6 (with hopefully a large flaccid hang)

I found an interesting story a while ago of a guy who had a very similar situation (venous leak) but had surgery:

Part 1: http://www.ed-f orum.com/viewto … ic.php?f=8&t=46
Part 2: http://ed-forum … c.php?f=13&t=24

He declines surgery in Germany for surgery in Taiwan. I would be too scared have the surgery myself, maybe years down the line when I’m 100% sue and have no other option.

Anyway, it’s interesting stuff.

I just read that story and this kind of thing should be done by an interventional radiologist, using keyhole surgery. Far less invasive, heals quicker, no nerve damage.

I don’t believe it will unless you have a psychological reaction to realising you’re injured, which is not unlikely.

Cavernosograms do not seem to detect a venous leak 100% of the time.

I think that I’m having some problem with my glans also. I can achieve full erection, both shaft and glans; my glans is in its full volume, but not so hard as shaft, it is normal. What bothers me is that only slight squeeze with my fingers will cause it to deflate considerably, one half of volume. I can inflate it by masterbation and kegeling again. When I hold OK grip on the base of my penis, then I can’t deflate glans by squeezing it with fingers.

So, do I have a problem, or am I just hipochondriacal? Not so pleasant thinking about it the whole fricken day.

How not? When have you heard of them being inaccurate?

How would one know though, what other test is there?

Well I’m only making that assumption because I’ve read people’s reports saying that they had them the results showed no noticeable abnormality. Of course one wouldn’t know otherwise for sure, but in those reports the authors describe all the symptoms we’ve been looking at here so I think its not unlikely that a cavernosogram wouldn’t necessarily be able to always clearly show the cause of these symptoms.

For instance, if there are a number of very small leaks rather than a single major leak, this may not show up looking different from the normal physiosigical action.

For some people they didn’t show any results. I know for myself a duplex ultrasound showed I had horrible arterial blood flow into my penis. My assumption for most of the people in this thread is a duplex ultrasound or cavernosogram will be normal. But you cannot be sure until you have these tests done. Plus if we could have a bunch of people in this thread posting their tests results I believe we can reach some conclusions as to what is going on.

And since having these tests done doctors have presented me with some options that go beyond viagra. Penile revascularization surgery is being strongly considered for my case, but I must admit that my ED is extremely bad and this is an extreme option.

I have this same issue as well. I think it is a mixture of an arterial/muscular problem in the perineum that is alleviated when putting your legs together.

Tweak, I’m just wondering about something:

When you press down on the deep dorsel vein your glans remains engorged but have you also tried pressing on the CS?

I'm a big fan of 50 Cent, or as we call him in Zimbabwe, four hundred million dollars.

That is quite an assumption to make, when the more obvious answer would be that if a cavernosogram does not show a venous leak then their problems may not in fact be caused by a venous leak.

There are a lot of ailments that can affect penile function which have symptoms similar to a venous leak.

Such as?

If you have soft glans syndrome, there normally is no leakage to the cavernosum, so a cavernosography is senseless. There is leakage to the spongiosum so you need to have a spongiosography made. In my case, I’m sure that it’s not venous leakage, it’s a blood supplying or neurological problem.

Obstruction of blood flow due to scarring/fibrosis for one. Even low testosterone could be mistaken for venous leakage.

True. I guess what I’m really driving at is, even if there are multiple causes such as a leak or fibrotic scarring, (though I’d leave hormonal out for now) the symptoms are more or less the same, and so is the treatment.

I haven’t tried it, I shall and let you know. What are you suspicions?
