Posting this here to see if anyone has experienced this. I honestly don’t know if this is psychological, physical, a result of herbal supplement usage, or some combination of all 3. Most interested to hear if anyone’s experienced a “crash” in libido, mood, EQ, etc following a period of heavy supplement usage (in my case paired with heavy PE). Will go into detail below.

So around 3 weeks ago, I restarted my routine consisting of 10min jelqs and introduced light hanging as I eased back into PE. Corresponding with this I started seeing a new chick who is an absolute nympho, meaning sex was more frequent than usual. I started taking a pretty heavy regimen of herbs to see what works and what would help me keep up with her without having to pop a Viagra (I’m 34 btw).

I took a mixture of pygeum, lecithin, zinc, celery seed for load, while taking maca, ashwagandha, and fenugreek for libido and mood. Around this time I was also working out more. Following a period of particularly intense PE, I edged for hours on end for a couple of days to prep for antics with her. Oh, also took a bunch of citrulline which I regretted as I think it caused a cold sore outbreak.

Anyway…I think it all caught up to me as my body completely crashed a week or so later, and I don’t feel like I’ve recovered yet. I’ve stopped taking the supps to give myself a chance to reset, and I’ve just felt a complete loss of libido and energy. On top of that, my dick feels cold and just off in general (not to the touch but internally) and my glans seems shrunken.

I’m leaning towards this being mostly psychology/hormonal because I wasn’t going THAT hard with the PE, unless the hours of edging days on end put me over the top. I recall something somewhat similar happening 6 months ago, where the combo of supplements + PE had me steadily building libido and hardness to a ridiculous extent….only to be followed by a crash in parallel with me getting a cold or something.

Either way I think I need to be better about not hitting the PE too hard or increasing supplement intake too quickly as I get more into a routine, just wondering if anyone’s experienced anything similar.

Waaay too many supplements. Only take 1 or 2 at a time. Plus taking supplements while doing PE is going to boost bloodflow and intensify the effects of the PE like you describe.

I’ve noticed my circulation is terrible lately in general - my hands and feet are colder than normal too. Wondering if any of the supplements I mentioned could lead to that after discontinuing.

I hope you know realize that supplements can not only be dangerous but can kill you. Often the ingredients found in supplements are the very same that are found in drugs although in much higher concentration in the drugs. Be careful

Some of the Chinese believe losing ones seed too often results in fatigue and loss of EQ. I know some who swear by this. That might be an angle to explore too given your meeting this lady.

How come the Chinese are always taken as being so wise? Why not the Zulu’s or Aborigines?

Just try to practice moderation in all things. And whether P.E. or bodybuilding, incremental change is healthiest, safest, and in the long run usually will produce the best results.
