Cable Clampers please read!! My urologist diagnosed me with Sclerosing Lymphangitis

I went to my first urologist last November and he told me I had a thrombosed vein and that it would heal on it’s own, but it still has not healed.
I went to see my urologist regarding my thrombosed vein

Then three weeks ago, I go to see second urologist for another opinion and he diagnosed me with sclerosing lymphangitis. He asked me if I did excessive masturbation/sex, I replied yes. I did not want to tell him I used cable clamps while erect to make my penis thicker (guys please don’t do this any more, look what happened to me). He told me I harmed my lymph vessel and it is full of some kind of fluid. This is completely different from what my first doctor said, which was a dead vein where the blood had no where to go.

He prescribed me 10 tablets of Naproxen 500mg to be taken every 12 hours after a meal. He said that if my injury didn’t heal from that, then more than likely is going to be permanent. Well, I’ve taken all 10 tablets and I still got the damn thing.

I’ll be the first person to tell all of you, DON’T use cable clamps as a pe exercise. You are freaking harming your penis!! I’m a pe veteran, I’ve been doing this for over 2 years. So this stuff doesn’t apply to just newbies. I wish I had a digital camera to take a picture of my injury, but I don’t have one. I guess the only solution is through surgery. I’m totally freaked out now. Right now I’m taking 1200mg (6 capsules taken twice a day) of Advil a day and 600mg of Niacin a day. I know this is not healthy, but I’d like to get rid of this. There has to be some sort of non-surgical method to get rid of this problem.

I’ve been reading this message board: http://www.gree nspun.com/bboar … l?msg_id=0090C9
One guy says he’s had this injury for 15 years and hasn’t gone away. Oh boy I’m in it for the long haul :(

Hope you get better soon.

Sounds scary. Sorry to hear about your problems,Mike.
What’s the symptoms that got you to the uroligist in the first place, and how long and intense have you been clamping?

Oden

Mike,

Can you go into more detail about your routine?

How do you know it was caused by clamping specifically?

What redwood said, and did you do the clamping a lot?

I can’t believe that clamping can be harmful if you’re careful and do ~3 5 minute sessions / day.

Thanks everyone for your help. Redwood, I first reported my problems concerning clamping when I got erection problems, then I got the thrombosed veins. This was all back in October. I wrote down my routine that I used from clamping; it’s at the bottom.

Read here: Clamping is causing major erection problems!

Pretty heavy routine.

I believe that I had the same problem: hard pencil lead-type of vein or lymph, several little pearls along it’s path, left side from base, wandered toward underside as it approached glans. If this sounds similar, forget about it! It will go away on it’s own. After much anxiety for a month, I decided to leave it alone and move on with my life. Realized one day that it was completely gone, with no traces of it ever being there.

I have a pic some of you may find interesting. It may be a sclerosed lymph vessel or a thrombosed vein.

Am I allowed to post it here?

If it’s an injury related pic and on topic it is allowed.

Guys who clamp or do erect bends are prone to some type of abnormality or injury, so…

Don’t do them!

I don’t think that’s true as long as you use common sense. If common sense can be applied to clamping your dick. :p

Erect bends are one of the most controversial exercises as it is,(not to mention little gains reported from doing them.) combined with the extreme engorgement of clamping I think is very dangerous. I think clamping on it’s own is relatively safe for a well seasoned PEer that uses common sense. One needs to have a very good warmup prior to clamping to avoid injury. Personally in my routine I do manual clamping with my hands after a good warmup and some jelqing done prior. I do sometimes throw in a real clamping session with cable clamps at night before bed, but I sit with a girth wrap under my IR light for an hour before clamping, so my unit is hot, well stretched out, and ready to go.

Mike,
I hope your condition is not as serious as believed, and that you get over it soon. Doctors are never 100% correct, and never underestimate the power of the will to overcome health problems.

I hope that’s not what I have. I got mine from clamping. :(
