I developed a large red spot about a week and a half ago from the newbie routine. I’ve been doing the newbie routine for a little over a month now with nothing more than little red pin spots. This new spot is around a half centimeter across the longest part. Initially it had some texture to it, the skin on top of the red area looked dry and it appeared to be an external injury. I didn’t do any PE at all for a little over a week (mostly because I had friends visiting but it worked out because I figured that my red spot could use some time to heal) and the spot mostly faded. It was barely noticeable last night. I did the newbie routine this morning and very shortly after I began jelqing, the red spot became as red as it was the first time and now it doesn’t seem to have any abnormal texture at all. So now I’m wondering if it’s internal. I can move the spot around with the skin, so it IS attached to the skin, but there are also many little veins which move around with the skin so I wonder if one of those exploded or something.

I’ve read about similar sounding spots that other people have had and the responses to those people are mostly along the lines of: “give it a few days and it will heal” or “don’t worry about it as it doesn’t actually affect anything”. I haven’t really noticed anything different about my penis, I do have lower EQ lately but I’ve been very sick lately and I attributed it to that. I think that I was getting lower EQ from jelqing too intensely at high erection levels (perhaps more so during this second month) and I backed off some. I haven’t done much with my penis during the 9 day break from PE, I had sex once sometime in the middle of the break but there was plenty of lube and I don’t think that I put much strain on my penis. I’m single and promiscuous so having big red spots on my penis to explain isn’t awesome. Fortunately it wasn’t noticed (or mentioned) during my recent encounter.

So yea, 9 days and it didn’t heal. Has anyone had similar spots and if so; how long did it take to go away and did you stop PE?

Sounds like you’ve burst a small blood vessel. You need to give it another rest, then start very slowly and gently; they can take quite a while to get back to full strength, and if it comes back you are back to square one again. I’ve had a few!

Do you think that stretching is okay as long as I avoid the area?

This morning the area is dry and some skin is peeling off. Would bursting a blood vessel cause this? Should I start thinking that this is an external thing?

Well it looks like a little blood vessel in the top layer of skin, rather than deeper. It does mean it will heal a lot quicker, and be less prone to giving trouble by ‘apparently’ healing, then coming back when you do any higher pressure PE. But the same healing principles apply. Give it a bit more rest, then start ‘pressure PE’ slowly. Stretching will be fine now though.

So I gave it another week and this morning I did ten minutes of light jelqing (basically completely restarting the newbie routine) and the spot came back, though not as bright. I believe that it would have been just as bright red as before had I increased the intensity and duration. I’m super annoyed that I have to give this damn thing more time, but oh well. I’ll give it another two weeks and if that doesn’t work I’m going to squeeze it until it explodes and see what it thinks about that.

However pissed you get at it, don’t do that. Ruptured blood vessels don’t explode, they just tear more.

Yea, I suppose I was kidding. I’ve given it around 9 days once, and a week after that didn’t work. Do you think that two weeks should do it? I’d imagine that it’s different for everyone but I’ve got nothing else to do here but ask that question. This is really frustrating, and my fault (obviously, who elses?). I was really increasing the intensity and erection level just because.

Last one I had came back 3 times, but slightly less bad each time - it looked much worse than yours to begin with though. It was 6 weeks before I was confident to do more than light jelqs and 10 weeks before I went back to my usual routine. No probs since, even with my usual loony clamping. :)

Bummer, I guess I’ll see what two weeks does. This morning it wasn’t visible at all before I started jelqing. Slowly it became more and more visible until it became perhaps a third as bright as it was before. I was making an effort to do it lightly and I only jelqed for ten minutes. I’m going to take it easy when I’m finally able to restart the newbie routine. I’m wasting valuable penis time here…

You’ll waste even more time going ahead. Just let the damn thing disappear and rest another week more.

After a two week break I did ten minutes of VERY light jelqing today. The spot sort of came back. It’s hard to explain: the shape of the spot is there, slightly discolored from the rest of the penis, and there are a few little red pin spots scattered throughout the area. I feel like if I were to apply anymore pressure that it would have came back entirely. I’m trying to decide whether or not I want to do another light session tomorrow and see how it goes, or if I should just not risk it and take yet another break. Frustrating, ideas?

I had a similar injury. After one week off it came right back. After a two week break it came right back. finally I took a month off and it hasn’t returned. Be patient. Thirty days is a small price to pay for a healthy dick.
