Arnica question

I finally got some Arnica gel yesterday from GNC.
This one is from Roberts Research Laboratories.

My ?:
I’ve seen it mentioned on some websites, to cover the affected areas with saran wrap. I guess to aid in absorption and maybe create heat? Any advantage to this as opposed to just putting on the penis and letting it absorb?

Saran wrap is plastic film sold for covering food when storing leftovers in the fridge, it has some stretch to it and clings to itself.

that going to create a tendancy to open pores, so maybe thats why its suggested.
