You could have a very light nerve damage, coupled with anxiety. Back in times, some guys reported serious nerve damage using noose-style extenders improperly; they used to heal in a span of time of 1 month to one year.

Thanks for the quick reply. Good to hear others have recovered from numbness. Doing a quick search on the internet I find more guys complain about it being permanent, but that’s not a really good sample method.

Sorry for the double post, but to my original question. What amount of sensation is considered normal? As a guideline, should it be more sensitive to touch (more tactile sensitivity) than the inner thigh?

This recipe is so effective that not only should people use it for injuries but it should also be part of your daily PE regimen.

Is the penis normally more sensitive than say the thigh or leg? I know only a urologist or neurologist (and time) can tell if it is nerve damage and if it’s permanent, but I’m really worried.
The sad thing is I don’t even really need enlargement, I’m almost 8 inches when erect, but now I’m really worried I have damaged myself.

It’s been 8 months since my injury, and things haven’t improved much. I saw two urologists early on, one prescribed Viagra, which was only minimally helpful. I can get aroused just fine, but I have a terrible time maintaining erections. It quickly deflates without stimulation, and even with stimulation it deflates sometimes. It seems I stay soft but engorged instead of hard most of the time. I spent months trying to keep a positive attitude and trying not to assume the worst, but I’m starting to worry I permanently damaged my dick (venous leak).
It’s hard to believe that one injury would cause permanent irreparable erectile dysfunction. I did go overboard though, I did pumping with way too much pressure and 100% erect jelqs in the same session. Very stupid but I never fathomed it could cause this. I actually gained a good amount of girth in a short time but my EQ went to shit and has been there ever since.

Hmmm. Viagra and cialis are the go to drug for ED according to my GP. I have experienced the same things as the original Poster, Mikey88, but have found over the years (20) that I can get raging hard ons at times and very weak ones at other times. My EQ has nothing to do with an injury. Mine is completely due to lack of conditioning and low self esteem. Those things can be corrected and the Cialis helps in one form or another. My doctor told me that I should exercise, eat right and have lots of sex with my wife. One side effect of ED is that I have learned how to use my fingers and tongue quite well. :) . Always be hopeful and never give up.

I read through your post, and it sounds eerily similar to what I did when I was 18 years old. I found the same website, made a similar hanger, and did many of the same things you did. There was a period of time that I could not get an erection at all for a while(maybe a few months). It was incredibly depressing. I’ve tried all sorts of supplements, Viagra, massaging and stretching and nothing seemed to have any real effect. I used to be able to have sex, but my erection would not last long, and I would not be rock hard for more than a minute during intercourse. If I had to wear a condom, forget it.

Fast forward to today, I am 23.5 years old. Not much has changed, if anything I have a harder time having sex because I constantly lose my erection or I just don’t get aroused. I am however able to get erections with porn and constant stimulation. This is where something clicked, and I did some research.

I think I have porn induced ED. I’ve had access to high speed internet since I was 15 years old, and have been using porn ever since. For the most part, I am always able to get an erection with porn. There are a lot of testimonials and information on guys our age that have ED, and it is caused by the use of porn. I’ve tried to quit before, but always relapse and binge, or I get depressed because it isn’t working after a few weeks and give up. Combine this with our depression and anxiety about our ED, and it makes things that much worse.

Basically, from everything I’ve read, it can take 6 months to 2 years for us to recover and re-wire our brain for the real thing. I am prepared to do this, and am once again attempting to rid my life of porn.

I tried to sum it up as quickly as possible, forgive me for that but I don’t have time to recall every slightest detail about my ED. If you use porn, and always have from an early age, then read into it. Continue to use supplement and viagra to promote nocturnal erections, and just leave your shit alone. The more you mess with it, the more it will consume your thoughts. I quit obsessing over my penis and my ED, and my anxiety has gone way down.

Things that helped me- they may help you

A while back I injured my penis with a traction device that pulled down on my penis. For a long time I had erection problems and did not let it heal. After much research on the internet the following things helped me greatly.

  1. Rest- I know its hard but no sex or masturbation for one month than after that once a week until healed.
  2. Compression- wear two pairs of tight underwear to support and lift penis and suspensory ligament.
  3. Ice- once a day on area above the penis and not on direct skin.
  4. Anti inflammatory medication- Aspirin or ibuprofen taken orally and Voltaren or comfrey cream rubbed on the area of pain.
  5. Bio-oil or vit E oil- Rub this into skin of penis and above penis daily.
  6. Vitamins- Lots of Vitamin C and omega 3 and a multivitamin/mineral tablet.
  7. Good diet with lots of seafood and eat papaya/papaw and pineapple daily as the contain the enzymes papain and bromelain which help healing.
  8. Elevation- as much as possible rest area and have area healing above heart. All these things helped me greatly and should help you with your healing. Take care.

This one of the best posts I have read in a long time. Thanks dmr30 this is awesome. Do you have a thread on this? If you don’t, you may want to think about one from start of injury, healing process, to healed completely. What was the duration of the rest and healing process?

So it looks like this hasn’t been updated in a while.. I have similar problems with my penis. I have curvature and numbness and scar tissue and I have been working on some great new stretches to share with everyone. I’m working on fixing my curvature but it is also fixing my numbness at the same time. See I have scar tissue built up on the right side and I am perfecting a stretch exercise. Basically all I do is stretch my penis to the right side and move it around under my scrotum ( holding and moving scrotum in the process) I stretch my penis under my balls and pull it and here’s the best part. I twist my penis to the right and pull it under my ball sack with a nice tug. I do this starting 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off and then make my way up to a minute and then 2 minutes. I do this about an hour a day and since I’m in the experimental stage still I might start doing it morning and evening for an hour twice a day. I have more sensation and straighter penis after every exercise and if anyone else is very interested just ask me to post pics or a video on here. This exercise is stretching my scar tissue and you can feel the burn with every stretch and it feels great!! I wish a moderator can make me a normal member so I can start posting everywhere. I’m also combining this healthy exercise with normal stretching before hand and 20-30 min wet soft jelq sessions followed by 20-30min of pumping.

Any updates from anyone? I’m having the exact same problem/symptoms as the original poster. My injury happened about a month ago after I fell asleep with traction wrap on woke up with a painful erection bounded by the wrap. I peeled it off and ever since then my flaccid and erect size shrunk considerably, my erections seem to stop halfway at the point where my traction wrap “twisted” my erection (less blood flow to the upper half of my penis up the shaft). Healing hasn’t been going well (I’ve abstained with one failed attempt at sex because of my soft erections dying out constantly). I’m taking many supplements but I’m scared that my penis will never heal
