3 Years of PE. Results & a couple of questions

This place seems so friendly and encouraging (thanks!) 🙂. I went on another forum a week or so ago with pretty much the same post - and they were saying things like how slowly I was gaining and I should be gaining 2.5"-3" in a year (which is ridiculous!). I noticed it was only by the moderators/staff members too. They all seemed very cliquey. I even got told off when I replied to someone, saying 2.5"-3" in a year is very unrealistic and to expect something around 0.5" 🤷‍♂️.

Frankly, I think they were full of BS and just trying to sell their products. (I won’t mention the site though, in case it’s against the rules).

So, I’ve altered my routine a bit - I’ve added 5 minutes of pumping (using the Bathmate Hydromax), every other day. Also added another clamp, so there’s now a tight one at the top and bottom, plus a slightly less tight one mid-shaft. I’ll report if there’s any difference/gains! 🤞

Funny, a lot of people think we’re a bunch of assholes.

Every forum evolves into its own distinct culture. Thunder’s insistence on proper English and calling out bullshit tends to encourage the "imma gunna grow an 18 inch twat wrecker!" types to move on to more-accomodating venues.

Thunder’s Place is also privately funded, which is why you don’t see any ads. That has knock-on effects, like not kissing advertiser butts or turning the forum into an advertising platform.

Without moderators drumming up topics and posts for Search Engine Optimization, things often move more slowly here than on the commercialized forums. Since some knowledgeable members only check in every week or month, it might take a while for a question to get answered.

If you get impatient, we also have more than two decades’ worth of archives which, if searched, can turn up an astonishing amount of information. Top-notch technical support has let the Thunder’s migrate through software upgrades and host changes without losing any data.

It’s a bit different from the "perpetual now" of social media; some people have trouble adjusting to it.

Yeah, at "that other place", it was so obvious they were just trying to flog their (expensive!) products - every reply to someone new or struggling seemed to be "buy the so-and-so and you’ll achieve the results!" I mean, I haven’t seen ANYONE anywhere gain over 3 inches in 1 year 🙄 - it’s just building up people’s hopes. And if they’re telling people that’s what they can expect or achieve, then they’re going to have some very disappointed/disheartened customers.

Andy just described why this place is always going to be my PE home. To me this site is, and always has been, the very best of support, information and maturity out there on this topic. I feel lucky to be a part of it.

It’s great that you have made progress, SD85. I also wonder how many guys who reach their starting goals stop when they reach them. I know some do, but I see others with "new goals" in their signatures regularly.

Makes me grateful I found this place before I was even thinking about PE. I first stumbled upon TP when I stumbled upon a mention of the massive "Holy Grail" of semen volume thread. I followed it here, and I gradually became more interested in PE than the original reason that first brought me here as I began to explore it more. It’s such a great resource.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s quite addictive - and it becomes part of your lifestyle (the month I stopped doing it, I actually missed it, lol).

It’s great to set a goal - I think a lot of guys will always want to be/get a bit bigger, no matter what size they are though (me included 🤦‍♂️).

I got into it through rehab. It turned from a painful chore into an established habit after a while. When the ruler showed I had actually done it and gained more than that, it nearly turned into an obsession for a while. Calling it a "lifestyle" wouldn’t be too far off the mark.

My goal - to regain the perfectly-average size I had before illness and injury - took about a year. I figured I had the ingrained habit and several plastic tubs of PE gear, I might as well see how much I could get.
