I’m thinking of adding a pump to my repertoire, probably more just for temporary girth gains ahead of sex rather than a focused regimen designed with long-term PE in mind.

Realistically what kind of temporary girth gains do people tend to see from a relatively short pump session, of say 20-30 minutes? For someone who knows what they’re doing, is it possible to come out of a pump with a temporary girth increase of say 5%+?

How long would that temporary increase be expected to last? So, say you had the hope or expectation of some action, could you pump say 2 hours before the deed and expect that temporary increase to still be present or would you need to pump nearer the time to have the temporary girth gain at your disposal?

I’ve recently switched from 1-hr pump sessions to 2-3 (30) minutes sessions per day and are seeing better results from this shorter stimuli

5-20% is realistic depending on the level of vacuum used. Clearly we all promote safe and not knowing your experience; it’s safe to say you can expect more like 5-10% pumping at 4-6hg for 20-30 minutes

You can expect the temporary increase to last 4-6 hours if you’re fairly inactive afterwards. If you’re super active or workout post pumping, you’ll most likely see it dissipate within 2-3 hours

Part of it will be if you want her to know you’ve pumped or not. Meaning, it will be obvious within 2-hours and she should feel a difference and if she physically handles it then she may even be able to notice something is off/bigger

If you want to maintain a level of secrecy, I’d aim for 3-4 hrs post pump

Thanks man. Zero experience yet so if I pull the trigger on a pump I’ll make sure I take my time building up time in the tube and pressure in a safe manner. I am very curious to know if it is worthwhile for sex, how putting a pumped dick to use feels for the partner and the pumper for that matter - 5-10% temporary girth increase would be incredible.

In my experience, GREAT but only because of the shorter pump session; meaning there wasn’t much in the way of fluid buildup. It felt awesome for me and I’ve literally asked “how it feels” and have gotten a few smiles on the other end

I think you could pump for 20 min. a few hours before and feel a little plumper during the deed. But as said, to get massive fluid build up, it takes time. But I don’t find fluid build-up conducive to erections.

Until you have conditioned your dick to pumping, 15 minutes at 5 hg should give 1/4” to 1/2” inch additional girth with only minor edema. I have been pumping for a number of years and can now achieve the same results in about five minutes.

When I come out of the pump, it’s a thick beast for at least a couple hours.

One time, I pumped several hours earlier and then my wife complained it was too thick.

You will learn fast.

Easiest way to experiment is to do several 10 minute sets a day.

As others here have mentioned, the goal is to go into the hook up with a balance between expansion and sponge cock. You want the girth, but need the fluid build up to be uniform and not over the top.

Just begin experimenting with several short 10 minute sets a day. Three to six sets and find your sweet spot.

The goal is to get the final set as close to the hook up as possible, but don’t worry too much about it. If it’s four hours so be it, if it’s two hours, cool. The comment on activity is spot on. Keep your activity level low and don’t masturbate before the hook up.

You will notice the extra girth when your partner grabs your cock and it will turn you on.

5% expansion is typical and reasonable, 10% is pushing it. When talking temporary expansion for sex, at 10% you will start to become a bit spongy and could also suffer from some eq loss.

I pulled the trigger on a pump and had my first test run, just to see what it’s like. Definitely interesting but there’s some things I’d be grateful for more guidance on from any vets.

The cylinder is 9” long with a diameter of 2”. It came with a soft rubber seal which goes across the end of the cylinder through which my John Thomas goes. The seal has a hole in the middle, I think 1” in diameter. I tested it with and without the rubber seal and found I don’t really need to use it in order to get a good seal. Can anyone think if there’s any other benefit to using the rubber seal beyond the sealing?

There seems to be a lot of variables with pumping when working out a routine - different pressure levels, duration in the tube, number of sets, gap between sets, frequency of sessions. I’d like to stay relatively low with the pressure, no more than 3/4”Hg, and play with the other variables, certainly at least while I learn the ropes.

I’m curious to know what kind of objectives people have for a pump session when they slide into the tube. For example, I can imagine going in with the intention of reaching a particular pressure level, say 3/4/5+ “Hg (or whatever someone is personally capable or comfortable doing) and then holding that for a set duration - 5/10/20/30+ minutes. Or I can imagine going in with the intention of say reaching an eighth/quarter of an inch beyond your normal BPEL and again holding that for so many minutes. The latter objective I think would have to come with a proviso, say aiming to reach a target length but abandoning the attempt if it means going beyond a particular safe pressure threshold, otherwise you could pump to a dangerously high pressure trying to reach a target length. I see others sometimes go in with the intention of packing the tube. Are there other objectives people set for individual pump sessions?

I guess it comes down to what you’re aiming for. Perhaps there’s a different objective for a session if you’re looking to gain length over girth.

Appreciate anyone’s thoughts on my pondering.

There was one other thing I meant to ask. Let’s say that for now I’ve decided 4”Hg is my maximum pressure level. How quickly should I aim to reach that? Just pump straight there quickly or is it advisable to go to 1”Hg, hold there for say a minute, then pump to 2, hold again for a minute and so on?

I think if you are going in hard you can quickly pump up to pressure. But if you are going in flaccid you need to build pressure/vacuum slowly. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Sorry to hijack. I just wanted to ask Andy, do you know of anywhere it’s possible to buy a 1 7/8” tube? 1 3/4” is just too tight for me but I feel lost in a 2” tube
