Coldhot water cycling after PE session

Coldhot water cycling after PE session

I don’t know if this is a long shot or what.. And I tried looking for anything similar already so I hope I am not being a n00blet right now.. But I just started PEing serious a few weeks ago (and have actually already made measurable gains! :-) ), And I have thought about cycling with cold and hot water on my penis after PEing. My reasoning is that I injured my knee and my trainer had me cycling my knee in hot and then cold water baths to aid in recovery. I’m not very knowledgeable on the body or the study of medicine, so my trainer explained it to me that the hot water brings fresh blood out to the area in recovery and the cold water make the cells retract and the old blood leaves, so together you have a synergistic effect.. Anyway, I also was reading and it’s a bad idea to ejaculate after PEing because it makes the muscles shrink? So perhaps a cold and hot water cycle is good on my off days? Once again, I’m sorry if this type of question has been asked and I never found it and any input would be appreciated.

Yes there is deep study in this on some other forums that going with cold water after doing a length workout will shock the ligaments and cement the gains. As to whether it is true or not I don’t know because I don’t practice it. But many have reported it works.

Would like to hear what some vets think about this.

Before PE: NBPEL 5.50" x EG 4.30"

Current: NBPEL 6.50" (BPEL 7.5") x EG 4.6" (head EG 5")

Goal: NBPEL 7.00" x EG 5.25"

This is the reason that is not such a good idea, IMHO. I am not a vet, but in my years as a jock I had many a lig injury that they treated in this manner. The reason they do it is to repair the lig back to its original state. In PE that is not what we want. We want the lig to heal longer than the original state. I am no MD, but experience tells me it might not be the best thing for PE.

You know what? I initially agreed with your statement until I remember that whenever you injure yourself, it NEVER grows back the way it was, so perhaps the quickest recovery is what we want? I’m still thinking what you are saying is more logical, but I don’t suppose there are any doctors in the house that could give some input?

The idea has been discussed before however it has not been extensively tested. The idea is to cool in an extended state or under tension.

I hope that helps.

That very well may be. Like I said, I am no doctor. I just make observations on past experiences. I once asked my sports therapy physician why we put alternating hot and cold on those types of injuries (because I thought it was a bit odd) and that is the answer he gave me. It is the best and fastest way to return the ligament to its original state. Now I don’t know whether he meant “the closest to it’s original state” or not, but that is the answer I got from him. As you say though, it would be nice to get a technical answer from a certified MD.

Now that seems logical to me. Maybe I should test it.
